The 2025 NFL Draft is in the books and that means the 2025 fantasy football season is officially underway and now is the time to discuss fantasy football player rankings.

Yes, the overzealous best-ball and dynasty fantasy football crowds have already started planting their flags, but for me, this is when the true work actually begins. Before the draft, it was nothing more than speculation and analysts’ assessments of how the 2025 rookie class looked in college, at the NFL combine and in private workouts. Now we can take that information and figure out exactly how these kids fit into their new landing spots and what we can expect from the coaches, the teams and the rest of the players for the 2025 season. Who landed in a favorable spot and who might be a square peg being forced into a round hole?

 

What you will see below is a first-look at my personal rankings for re-draft leagues for the 2025 NFL season. They will change once we get into training camp and players’ roles are more well-defined. Maybe not during May OTA’s because how a player looks running without pads, blockers or actual contact is irrelevant, but once these guys are on the field and practicing as if their job depends on it (which it does), that’s what matters most.

These rankings, for now, are scoring agnostic. I do it with half-point PPR scoring in mind, but once we see more of how a player is being used, we can branch it off into full-point PPR and standard scoring as well.
