Welcome to the 2026 NFL DFS Week 9 RB Coach article! With Bhayshul Tuten, Bucky Irving, and Jaylen Warren leading the way, the NFL DFS RB coach had a good Week 8. Unfortunately, Tuten is dealing with a foot and ankle injury, and his Week 9 availability will likely be a game-time decision, so we won’t be using him again this week. The Week 9 NFL DFS RB rankings feature several NFL DFS RBs carrying questionable tags and potential matchups to avoid but we’ve cut through the uncertainty and identified Week 9 NFL DFS RB picks designed to keep our momentum moving in the right direction while we help you earn some cash!!
NFL DFS Week 9 RB Coach for FanDuel and DraftKings Fantasy
The Week 9 NFL DFS RB rankings feature two very affordable NFL DFS RBs who began this season as RB handcuffs and who are expected to have a lead back role this week.
Tyler Allgeier may have the opportunity to follow up on his huge Week 8 with Jeremiyah Love on IR and Zonovan “Bam” Knight potentially inactive in Week 9 due to a concussion. He’s only $5,400 on DraftKings (DK) and $5,800 on FanDuel (FD). He takes on the Seahawks, who’ve kept NFL DFS RBs in check on the ground but have given up the fifth most receptions and nine total TDs in eight games to the position.
Texans NFL DFS RB Woody Marks will have at least one more week as the team’s lead back with David Montgomery out again in Week 9. His DFS salaries are relatively inexpensive ($5,700 DK, $6,500) and he has a good matchup against the winless Chargers, who have given up nine total TDs to NFL DFS RBs this season.
NFL Week 9 Running Backs
NFL DFS players are catching a break with just the Titans and Steelers on a bye in Week 9.
Jets NFL DFS RB, Breece Hall (quad), is expected to see his first action since Week 3. He has a tough matchup against the Chiefs, and it will be interesting to note if his snaps will be managed and if Braelon Allen will continue to have a significant role in the Jets’ offense.
Keep an eye on Blake Corum and Kenny Gainwell’s usage this week. Their roles have expanded recently, and with at least four teams on a bye in each of the next three weeks, they could be a viable option as NFL DFS RBs who could provide a good return on investment based on their affordable DFS salaries and potential production.
NFL DFS RB Top Tier Picks for Week 9
Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions
DraftKings: $10,000 | FanDuel: $10,200
Gibbs is the most expensive Week 9 NFL DFS RB on both the DK and FD platforms, and he is worth every penny. He has a great matchup against the Dolphins, who have given up the sixth-highest average PPR fantasy points per game and eight total TDs to NFL DFS RBs in their first seven games. He is a very safe Week 9 NFL DFS RB pick who, despite his top salary, can provide a good return on investment.
Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts
DraftKings: $7,500 | FanDuel: $8,300
Taylor’s 4.1 YPC is the lowest of his career, and while he isn’t performing up to the high standards that NFL DFS managers have come to expect, he is averaging a healthy 18.8 PPR fantasy points per game this season. In what could be his last game with the Colts, Taylor has a good matchup against a struggling Cowboys team that has been very friendly to NFL DFS RBs. The Cowboys have given up 4.76 YPC and 11 total TDs in eight games to NFL DFS RBs and the third most PPR fantasy points to the position.
NFL DFS RB Mid-Tier Picks for NFL Week 9
Chuba Hubbard, Carolina Panthers
DraftKings: $6,500 | FanDuel: $7,400
Hubbard has quietly had a very productive 2026 season, averaging 4.6 YPC and three receptions per game. He has scored four TDs in his last three games and takes on the Broncos in Week 9, and they’ve given up the sixth most PPR fantasy points to NFL DFS RBs this season. Hubbard has been very consistent this season, scoring double-digit fantasy points in every game on the DK platform and in six of seven games on the FD platform. (DK uses full-point PPR scoring and FD uses half-point PPR scoring).
Chase Brown, Cincinnati Bengals
DraftKings: $6,600 | FanDuel: $7,400
With the Bengals featuring a pass-first offense and Brown struggling for much of the season, you might want to avoid using him in your NFL DFS lineups. However, Brown bounced back last week and scored 17.1 DK fantasy points and a more modest 12.1 FD fantasy points. Brown’s productive Week 8 came on the strength of his pass-catching ability (8 catches for 46 yards). He takes on the Falcons in Week 9, and they’ve given up the most PPR fantasy points and the third most receptions to NFL DFS RBs this season.
NFL Week 9 DFS RB Value Picks
Rhamondre Stevenson, New England Patriots
DraftKings: $6,100 | FanDuel: $6,400
With TreVeyon Henderson still dealing with an illness that forced him to miss his Week 8 matchup against the Dolphins and kept him out of practice on Wednesday, Stevenson could be the Patriots’ lead Week 9 NFL DFS RB in a good matchup against the Packers. The Pack has given up 11 total TDs to NFL DFS RBs in eight games this season. They’ve also given up the fifth most PPR fantasy points to the position.
Quinshon Judkins, Browns
DraftKings: $5,400 | FanDuel: $6,700
Judkins has a great matchup against the Saints, who have given up the highest average PPR fantasy points per game to NFL DFS RBs this season. Judkins has had a rocky season so far but has scored 20 plus DK fantasy points and at least 18 FD fantasy points in two of his last four games. His very affordable DFS salary on both FD and DK platforms makes him a Week 9 NFL DFS pick who has a good chance of giving you a good return on your investment.
NFL DFS RB Fades for Week 9
Ashton Jeanty, Las Vegas Raiders
DraftKings: $5,900 | FanDuel: $6,800
Jeanty’s DFS salary on both DK and FD platforms is very affordable, but with head coach Klint Kubiak announcing that the Raiders would be using a “moving target” approach to managing his NFL DFS RBs, Jeanty’s role seems like it will be matchup-dependent moving forward. He was still a factor in the Raiders’ passing game in Week 8 but only had two carries last week against the Jets.
NFL Week 9 RB Play of the Week
Jonah Coleman, Denver Broncos
DraftKings: $5,300 | FanDuel: $6,300
Coleman is another Week 9 NFL DFS RB who can provide good value based on his DFS salary and his very good matchup. He takes on the Panthers, who have given up 11 total TDs and the second-highest average PPR fantasy points per game to NFL DFS RBs in their first seven games of the season. Coleman has taken over lead back duties for the Broncos and scored 20.4 and 18.4 fantasy points on the DK and FD platforms in Week 8, respectively.
