Week 18 of the NFL Season is here and it can be a total wild card when it comes to NFL DFS. There are teams that will be sitting their starters, teams that will be playing their starters for a limited set of snaps or series and then there are the teams with everything to play for or nothing to play for that will let their usual starters get the run. This makes it tough when it comes to DFS because it really limits the player pool but also creates a ton of likely value on the board, especially at the skill positions where backup running backs and wide receivers get moved into starting roles and will help you spend up on the top guys that have things to play for.

NFL DFS Top QB Picks

Jalen Hurts, QB Philadelphia Eagles

Hurts has been limited at practice this week but the expectations are that the Eagles QB will start against the Giants in Week 18 in what is a win and clinch situation for Philadelphia who is looking to lock up the #1 seed in the NFC.  The Giants have nothing to play for and head coach Brian Daboll has not yet committed to playing his starters which means we could be looking at Hurts going up against a backup Giants defense. Given the value that will be available on this slate, paying up at QB will not be a hard feat to accomplish when building lineups.

Dak Prescott, QB Dallas Cowboys

Playing at the same time as Jalen Hurts and the Eagles, the Cowboys can win the NFC East if the Eagles lose to the Giants which means they have to play their starters meanwhile the Cowboys are up against the Commanders who were eliminated and will be starting rookie Sam Howell at QB. With the Cowboys in a must win situation Dak is one of the more secure QB plays this week knowing that he won't be coming out of the game or benched given the things that are at stake.

NFL DFS Mid-Tier QB Picks

Geno Smith,  QB Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks don't exactly control their own destiny but in order for them to get into the playoffs they have to win their Week 18 matchup against the Rams and then look for some help from the Lions on Sunday night. So, with that said, Smith takes on a Rams team with nothing to play for but be a spoiler. With DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett at his disposal against the Rams team and the fact that the Seahawks are at home this feels like a good mid-tier play as Seattle looks to keep their Cinderella season going.

Brock Purdy, QB San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers need the Eagles to lose and then for them to win and they lock in the top seed in the NFC. Since they play at the same time as the Eagles you know the 49ers will be playing their starters and Purdy continues to be a solid mid-tier play, scoring 16+ FP in four straight weeks with games of 18 and 20 FP. His opponent this week is the Arizona Cardinals who are not very good and really struggle against opposing tight ends which is bad news for them as George Kittle is one of Purdy's favorite targets.

NFL DFS Value Tier QB Picks

Russell Wilson, QB Denver Broncos

The Broncos and Chargers are two teams with nothing to gain. The Broncos are looking to end the season on a high note while the Chargers are locked into a playoff spot. Wilson is coming off a strong performance against the Chiefs with three total touchdowns including two rushing TD's. Wilson has a new coach, and has solid targets with Jeudy and Sutton as targets I think there is still some nice upside here in this matchup to close out the season.
