Texans vs. Colts Predictions for NFL Week 13, Sunday 11/30
Along with the Texans' win over the Bills was the Colts suffering an overtime loss to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, which again makes the AFC South far more interesting. Admittedly, Indy is certainly still in the driver’s seat, but regardless, we’re excited to break things down for our Texans vs. Colts predictions.
With all eyes on their TNF win over Buffalo, Houston’s seemingly impenetrable defense is a surprise to absolutely no one. Of course, as far as Indy’s offense goes, Jonathan Taylor has also been a surprise to no fan since early on - the former Wisconsin Badger has FIVE games with THREE TDs!
It wasn’t for Texans vs. Colts picks, but we did hit one of our NFL best bets earlier this season on Danielle Hunter to record a sack, so their defensive line has been on our radar for longer than most. That said, it’s going to be going against the grain just a bit with the best bet from our Texans vs. Colts predictions.
Texans vs. Colts Best Bet: Jonathan Taylor 85+ Yards & Anytime TD (+121 at Novig)
Along with Danielle Hunter, Will Anderson Jr. makes the Texans' pass-rushing combo arguably the best in the entire NFL. However, that’s why we targeted a big game from Bills RB against Houston on TNF, and he went for 116 yards and a touchdown. Therefore, you’ll see a similar approach for our Texans vs. Colts predictions.
That’s not to say that Houston’s run defense is bad by any means, but it’s still the preferred way for an offense to attack them. That’s already been Indy’s strength behind their offensive line that ranks fourth in run block win rate as Jonathan Taylor looks to try and become the first RB to win the MVP award since Adrian Peterson in 2012.
We highly doubt that will happen, but coming through for our Texans vs. Colts predictions would certainly be a step in the right direction. To say that Taylor has been consistent against Houston would be quite an understatement; in just eight career games, he’s scored 10 TDs! It doesn’t end there, either.
In those eight games, he’s had five in which he rushed for 105, 188, 161, 143, and 145 yards, and he’s rushed for 83+ in seven of them! Frankly, those are video game stats. Houston’s defense has improved no doubt, but with the ground game still being the way to go, the best bet from our Texans vs. Colts predictions is Jonathan Taylor 85+ yards & TD (+121 at Novig).

Texans vs. Colts Injury Report & Latest News
We haven’t focused much on the big Texans vs. Colts injury to monitor - C.J. Stroud - as our best bet isn’t greatly impacted by it. Of course, Houston’s chance of an upset certainly is, and they also announced that Joe Mixon is not expected to return this season.
As for Texans vs. Colts injury updates in Indy, we didn’t see anyone go down against KC, but they were without a few second rotation guys, and DeForest Buckner remains on IR. Keep tabs on C.J. Stroud news and more with the Fantasy Alarm NFL injury report.
After breaking this AFC South rivalry, we learned a sneaky-big piece of Texans vs. Colts news - Daniel Jones is planning on playing through a fracture in his fibula. Fans often overreact when they hear of a “break” in a bone, but this all but certainly a stress or avulsion fracture, which can rather easily be overcome.
