As the old saying goes, “Good teams win, great teams cover.” We are back for Week 16 with our picks against the spread! Despite a couple of teams having clinched their playoff berths, no team has clinched their division yet! With several crucial divisional matchups occurring this week, that is bound to change real soon!

Below, we will be breaking down our NFL Week 16 Picks Against The Spread while also going through the NFL Week 16  schedule. So without further ado, let's dive in!

NFL Week 16 Picks Against The Spread: Buffalo Bills -10.5 (+100 at FanDuel Sportsbook)

-10.5? At plus money? Don't mind if I do! After coming back against and beating the division-leading New England Patriots last week, the Buffalo Bills are still playing for a divisional title that seemed to be out of reach. With so much on the line in these last three weeks of the NFL season, I don't think the Bills are going to overlook any opponent, even the Cleveland Browns. Plus, the Chicago Bears just showed the recipe to dominate: BLITZ, BLITZ, BLITZ.

Since taking over as the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, Shedeur Sanders has shown flashes of greatness. Where he hasn't been great, though, is when he is under pressure. Despite him flashing an impressive deep ball at times and occasional pinpoint accuracy, Sanders still has been holding the ball a bit too long and struggles when blitzed. When under pressure, Sanders has a completion rate of 38.5%. When blitzed, the completion percentage is 41.4%. He has also been better against man vs. zone (7th/37 in EPA per play vs. man compared to 34th vs. zone). Unfortunately for him, the Bills are in zone coverage 71.2% of the time.

Just to drive the dagger a little deeper, the Buffalo Bills have also had the number one defense against tight ends this season. Rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr. has far and away been the most targeted Brown since Sanders stepped in, receiving 14 targets last week against Chicago. This time around, he will likely be blanketed for the entire game. I expect Sean McDermott to see Sanders drop off against the blitz and use his athletic defense to make the rookie uncomfortable. With the reigning MVP on the other side of the ball with plenty to play for, I don't expect this game to be particularly close. Give me the Bills to come away with a dominant victory

NFL Week 16 Picks Against The Spread: Cincinnati Bengals -3.5 (-124 at DraftKings Sportsbook)

This line has shifted from -3.5 to -4 at most sportsbooks and even up to -4.5 at FanDuel Sportsbook, so we are getting insane value here from DraftKings. While this season has not been the best or most exciting for Cincinnati, from the inconsistencies at the quarterback position to the horrible defensive play, this season has been one to forget. Luckily for the Bengals, they get a game to hopefully build a little momentum heading into next season here.

This week, the Miami Dolphins benched their starting quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa. In his tenure with the Dolphins, his performances have been up-and-down, and he had a very poor showing against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football, leading to the Dolphins' elimination from playoff contention. Now, the Dolphins turn to a rookie to fill Tua's shoes. Not just any rookie, a seventh-round rookie quarterback: Quinn Ewers.

Having a seventh-round rookie start this late into the season does not get me very fired up about the Dolphins' chances here. Add to the fact that star running back De'Von Achane averages a full yard less per carry when Tagovailoa is out of the starting lineup, and I do not have much confidence in the Dolphins' offense here at all, even against one of the worst defenses in the league. Plus, the Bengals could have the return of their first-round draft selection, Shemar Stewart, who has plenty to prove, and Ewers could have his hands full.

If Joe Burrow can even play a decent game, this will not be close. He should have both Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins available in this one, so I do not think the Dolphins defense will stand a chance. Give me the Bengals to come away with a lopsided victory.
