Earlier this season, the NFL had its first International Series in Ireland. This weekend, we’ll see the first one in Spain! The Washington Commanders and Miami Dolphins have certainly had their struggles this season, but even still, we’re here to add excitement to the morning kickoff with our best Commanders vs. Dolphins predictions for Sunday.

We’ve also added to this NFL International Series game and our Commanders vs. Dolphins picks with a guaranteed 10x Novig Sportsbook promo code bonus!

Commanders vs. Dolphins Predictions for NFL Week 11, Sunday 11/16

The Commanders and Dolphins were two teams taking some of the biggest dives heading into Week 10, but one of them showed some fight while the other couldn’t have looked more opposite. Miami hosted the Buffalo Bills and frankly dominated them as nearly double-digit underdogs, while Washington was bludgeoned by the Detroit Lions.

Before we get too far into the follow-up of those performances with our Commanders vs. Dolphins predictions, we know that Jayden Daniels will once again be OUT as he recovers from his dislocated elbow (he does NOT need surgery, however). That means a Marcus Mariota vs. Tua Tagovailoa showdown for the fans in Spain.

Last weekend, we took Jahmyr Gibbs and the Lions in just about every capacity possible, and they came through for each and every one of our NFL best bets. We did so because we felt as though Washington’s defense had been overvalued, and while Miami may not be equivalent to Detroit, we’re focused on them with our Commanders vs. Dolphins predictions.

Commanders vs. Dolphins Best Bet: Tua Tagovailoa Over 234.5 Passing Yards (-115 at Novig)

It wasn’t long ago that the Dolphins offense was considered as explosive as the Lions, and while that is no longer the case - especially without Tyreek Hill - they still have their moments. Let’s not forget several explosive plays from Jaylen Waddle and De’Von Achane against a Super Bowl-hopeful Bills team on Sunday.

Head coach Mike McDaniel had a great game plan of giving Achane enough opportunities for gashing runs because the Bills have arguably the absolute best pass defense, but the fifth-worst defensive EPA per rush. Well, that flips this weekend. Washington isn’t great against either, but against the pass is where we’re focusing our Commanders vs. Dolphins predictions.

Along with the NFL’s second-worst defensive EPA per pass, they’ve also allowed the second-most yards through the air. Yes, even more than the Cincinnati Bengals and Dallas Cowboys, as unbelievable as that may be. Not only did Jared Goff throw for 320 yards against the Commanders on Sunday, but he even got to rest in the fourth quarter!

We’re not putting Tua on his level, but we also aren’t asking for 300+ yards, either. Prior to the run-focused game plan against the Bills, Tagovailoa threw for 261 yards against the Baltimore Ravens, another poor passing defense. It all adds up to a solid game from the lefty, whether they start a win streak or not.

It also adds up to us making the best bet from our Commanders vs. Dolphins predictions on Tua Tagovailoa over 234.5 passing yards (-115 at Novig).

Commanders vs. Dolphins Injury Report & Latest News

As we made sure to note from the start, Washington will still be without Jayden Daniels. As for other Commanders vs. Dolphins injury news in the nation’s capital, Terry McLaurin is another big name, and we also saw Chris Rodriguez leave Sunday’s game early after scoring his touchdown.

In Miami, they were without three defenders and Julian Hill on defense; with plenty of guys to monitor for this Spain showdown, make sure to check in with the Fantasy Alarm NFL injury report for even more than just Commanders vs. Dolphins injury news.
