With so many games across the country and then some, not to mention only two teams on bye, there are countless NFL predictions that can be made. Perhaps one of the most interesting games of the Week 7 slate is Tennessee.

After the Titans fired Mike Vrabel, he became the new head coach of the New England Patriots, and now, after just six weeks into the rookie season of #1 overall pick Cam Ward, they’ve fired Brian Callahan. In other words, Mike Vrabel now gets to try for revenge against a franchise in complete disarray.

NFL Week 7 Predictions: Sunday, October 19th

Before we get that far, we’ve still got ways to make some NFL picks on games that we didn’t target for our best bets. For the AM London game, even with a Puka Nacua ankle injury, we still see the Los Angeles Rams taking care of business against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

As for one of those divisional rivalries, don’t be surprised if the Las Vegas Raiders keep things within double-digits against the Kansas City Chiefs. That said, we still wouldn’t make that one of your NFL best bets for Week 7, as Patrick Mahomes is getting Rashee Rice back from suspension this week.

Frankly, we’d refrain from making any NFL predictions on a Panthers vs. Jets game, especially with that NFC vs. AFC clash being listed at nearly a pick ‘em. As for a game where points will be at a premium, that’s what we expect for Giants vs. Broncos, especially with Denver’s stifling defense.

Eagles vs. Vikings Best Bet: Jordan Mason Anytime TD (-130 at Rebet)

RBs versus the Eagles. That’s all that needs to be said for the first of our NFL best bets for Week 7. Of course, we’ve actually got a heap of info to back it up, but it’s a trend that has been a cash cow since the opening week of the season.

While we didn’t make NFL picks on him in Week 1, Dallas Cowboys RB Javonte Williams found the endzone twice against this Eagles run defense. We heard the noise that it was only because Jalen Carter was out (and he’s banged up now, too), but we still knew that this Philly defense could be had.

Starting in Week 3, we had Los Angeles Rams’ Kyren Williams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Bucky Irving, Denver Broncos’ JK Dobbins, and most recently, New York Giants’ rookie Cam Skattebo all finding the endzone. Well, they did, so we’re keeping this trend going with our NFL best bets for Week 7.

The Minnesota Vikings are coming off their bye week, and their offensive line doesn’t even need the extra rest - they rank eighth in run block win rate. Additionally, Philly’s eight rushing TDs allowed are the third-most in the NFL, so we love kicking off our NFL best bets for Week 7 with a Jordan Mason anytime TD (-130 at Rebet).
 

 

 

Commanders vs. Cowboys Best Bet: Jacory Croskey-Merritt Anytime TD (-105 at Rebet)

We’re going to keep the rushing action going for our NFL picks, and we say rushing rather than RB, as we’d also suggest a Jayden Daniels anytime TD at plus-money. So far this year, only two teams have allowed more rushing TDs than the Cowboys, and last year, their 10 allowed were the most in the NFL.

Washington was a contributor in that - not only did Jayden Daniels score a rushing TD when these NFC East rivals met last year, but so did Marcus Mariota when Daniels exited with an injury. So, consider that for part of your NFL best bets for Week 7, but we also have their rookie RB finding the painted grass.

The Commanders’ seventh-round draft pick has clearly become the bell cow of this crowded backfield, accumulating 14 and 17 carries the past two weeks. Considering that the Cowboys' defense just allowed 183 rushing yards to former Dallas RB (and backup) Rico Dowdle, this is a prime spot for the rookie.

Those two NFL best bets for Week 7 could also have you considering Washington's team total, but with a game total of around 55, we know that it may be a bit higher than some fans are willing to target for their NFL picks.
