Best NFL Monday Night Football Player Prop Picks
With how Atlanta looked in their Week 1 loss and Philly at home with a few extra days of rest, it’s no surprise to see the Eagles as clear favorites on MNF. In fact, the point spread has moved nearly a full field goal in their favor, so NFL MNF player prop picks may even be the preferred approach.
We don’t want to put all our stock in the Week 1 performances for these teams, but along with offseason moves and expectations, it certainly plays a part. Keep in mind that the Falcons lost to a team that scored only field goals (albeit six of them), and the Eagles were far from perfect in a 34-29 victory.
So, if you’d rather not trust either team in terms of winning this game, that’s why we’ve got our best Falcons vs. Eagles player props for you.
Falcons vs. Eagles Player Props: Drake London Over 56.5 Receiving Yards (-111 at Caesars Sportsbook)
Let’s get our NFL MNF player prop picks started on the Falcons side of the matchup. It’s also an approach that may take some fans by surprise, especially those who have been Drake London owners in fantasy football.
The USC product has an extremely high ceiling, which is why Atlanta fans have been frustrated with his usage and target share - similarly to TE Kyle Pitts. Well, the team finally made it a point to change that at the tail end of last season, as London earned 19 targets across the Falcons’ last two games of the year.
They now have a new QB under center in Kirk Cousins, so we understand the slow start in Week 1 in terms of linking up with his new weapons. We also saw Cousins look like an absolute statue in the pocket, so we expect him to continue relying on other playmakers as he gets back in the swing of things after his Achilles injury last season.
We’re also getting great value here, as other sportsbooks have this line listed as high as 59.5 yards! So, the first of our NFL MNF player prop picks is Drake London over 56.5 receiving yards (-111 at Caesars Sportsbook).
Falcons vs. Eagles Player Prop Bets: Jalen Hurts Over 36.5 Rushing Yards (-121 at Caesars Sportsbook)
The other play from our NFL MNF player prop picks isn’t quite as conventional of an approach, but that’s already paid dividends for us this season. For example, in the Week 1 MNF game, we targeted WR Deebo Samuel’s rushing yards, who soared over the 10.5 line with 23 yards.
Now, we’re focused on Philly QB Jalen Hurts doing more of the same. Yes, we too saw the Eagles new RB Saquon Barkley light it up two Fridays ago, but we’re looking to exploit a specific part of the Falcons defense.
Despite getting fed 20 carries, Pittsburgh Steelers RB Najee Harris accumulated 70 yards last week. That’s far from terrible, but just as far from incredible. What was more impressive was what Steelers QB Justin Fields did, which was to rush for 57 yards. We’re not putting Hurts on his level in terms of running the rock, but he’s still among the best QBs in that regard.
That’s why we have a reasonably high value for his rushing yards line, but we still see value. He didn’t need to take over the ground game in Week 1 thanks to Barkley blasting the Green Bay Packers, and Hurts still had 33 rushing yards.
With an even better matchup for Week 2, we’re adding to our NFL MNF player prop picks with Jalen Hurts over 36.5 rushing yards (-121 at Caesars Sportsbook).
