The quarterback rooms of NFL teams and fantasy teams are going to see a lot of new faces this week, as injuries have piled up amongst the position this past week. We saw rookie debuts, veteran journeymen, and everything in between. With playoffs right around the corner, let's take a peek into week 11’s injuries and hope for a better week 12.

WEEK 12 BYES: Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, Miami Dolphins, Washington Commanders

NFL Week 12 Injury Report: Quarterbacks

Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals

SATURDAY UPDATE

Burrow led the first team in practice throughout the week and will be listed as questionable for Sunday. However, he will not be activated from IR this week as Joe Flacco gets the start in Week 12. We'll have to wait another week for Burrow, as it'll be more likely that he returns to game action on Thanksgiving against Baltimore.

Dillon Gabriel, Cleveland Browns

SATURDAY UPDATE

Gabriel is officially being ruled out with his concussion this week. Shedeur Sanders will receive his first career start and hopes to perform better than he did in his debut.

Gabriel suffered a concussion this past week. This led to the debut of Shedeur Sanders, who performed poorly in relief of Gabriel. If Gabriel can’t clear concussion protocol, Sanders will be in line for his first start of the season.

Jaxson Dart, New York Giants

SATURDAY UPDATE

Dart has not cleared concussion protocol and will be inactive this weekend. Jameis Winston is expected to start yet again.

Dart is still in concussion protocol, but the team is hopeful he’ll clear this week and be active this weekend. Winston will be the starter should Dart not be able to go, but all signs point to him being active this weekend.

Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh Steelers

SATURDAY UPDATE

Rodgers is confirmed to have a break in his left wrist, but is still listed as questionable as he was able to practice this week. The team may play it safe this weekend and start Mason Rudolph, but Rodgers will likely try to play regardless.

Michael Penix Jr., Atlanta Falcons

Penix suffered a re-aggravation of a bone bruise he had previously, but also has some damage to his ACL, which may require a complete reconstruction. While we don’t know if he has a chance to play the rest of this season, we know he’s being placed on IR and will be out a minimum of 4 games.

C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans

Stroud is still in concussion protocol as of Monday, meaning his status for Thursday is still up in the air. If he can’t clear protocol, Mills will get another start.

NFL Week 12 Injury Report: Running Backs

Josh Jacobs, Green Bay Packers

SATURDAY UPDATE

Jacobs has practiced in a limited fashion after suffering a knee injury Sunday. From the sounds of things, it will be more pain management than anything for Jacobs, so if he feels like he can handle it, he’ll be active this week.

Jacobs suffered a knee injury Sunday, but he did not suffer a major injury and will not need surgery. There’s a chance he misses no time, but if Jacobs does, Emanuel Wilson becomes a prime streaming option given the firepower of the offense.

Isiah Pacheco, Kansas City Chiefs

SATURDAY UPDATE

Pacheco has been ruled out this week by head coach Andy Reid. Kareem Hunt will continue to see most of the short yardage work and Brashard Smith should see some work as well.

Rhamondre Stevenson, New England Patriots

SATURDAY UPDATE

Stevenson remains limited in practice, but seems to have taken on slightly more work each day. All signs point to a return to play this weekend, limiting the upside of TreVeyon Henderson.

Stevenson is expected to practice this week, per head coach Mike Vrabel. TreVeyon Henderson has shined in relief of Stevenson, with five touchdowns in his two starts. Stevenson’s return will hurt Henderson’s upside, but he’s still the preferred back for fantasy.

Jaylen Warren, Pittsburgh Steelers

SATURDAY UPDATE

Warren has been limited at practice after missing early in the week. Warren is not listed on the injury report and should be good to go this weekend. That said, it wouldn’t surprise me to see Kenneth Gainwell get an increased workload this week, especially in passing situations.

Warren exited the game in the third quarter of their 34-12 win over the Bengals, but he said he could have returned to the game if the score was closer. Even when healthy, Warren and Gainwell still split work, but Gainwell should be a starter for fantasy should Warren be inactive this weekend.

Bucky Irving, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

SATURDAY UPDATE

Irving has been practicing, but is listed as OUT this weekend. Head coach Todd Bowles did note that Irving is getting close to a return in Week 13.

Kenneth Walker, Seattle Seahawks

SATURDAY UPDATE

Walker has popped up on the injury report with a glute issue. This is his first time on the injury report all season, so this is something to watch into the weekend. If Walker can’t go, Charbonnet is a must start.

J.K. Dobbins, Denver Broncos

Dobbins is being placed on injured reserve, and there is a good chance he doesn’t return to game action this season. RJ Harvey has been playing well in relief of Dobbins, so the team shouldn’t suffer, but managers should have plans for the rest of the season.

NFL Week 12 Injury Report: Wide Receivers

Drake London, Atlanta Falcons

SATURDAY UPDATE

London has been ruled out against the Saints this weekend. With Michael Penix also being out due to season-ending knee surgery, this is a huge hit for the Falcons playoff hopes and fantasy managers' chances as they look to lock in a playoff spot.

London has been diagnosed with a sprained PCL and is expected to miss this weekend's game against the Saints, per Ian Rapaport. London has been having a great season with over 800 yards and six touchdowns, so hopefully he’s only going to miss one week.

Brian Thomas Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars

SATURDAY UPDATE

Thomas has practiced in a limited fashion each day this week, but is being listed as OUT for this weekend. His fantasy managers will have to wait another week.

Thomas missed Sunday’s win against the Chargers, but he can get closer to playing again this week if he can practice. Thomas’s skills will be helpful for the team, but their running game won them this past weekend.

Chris Godwin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

SATURDAY UPDATE

Godwin is trending towards playing this week per head coach Todd Bowles. This will be a return to watch, as Godwin’s impact could have huge implications for fantasy managers and Tampa Bay alike.

NFL Week 12 Injury Report: Tight Ends

Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions

SATURDAY UPDATE

LaPorta had surgery on his back and is expected to miss the rest of the season. He can be dropped from all seasonal formats with this news.

LaPorta has been placed on IR, effectively removing him from game action until the fantasy playoffs are underway. Brock Wright will be the starter in his absence, but fantasy managers should not expect the same production LaPorta offers.

Mike Gesicki, Cincinnati Bengals

SATURDAY UPDATE

Gesicki is back from injured reserve after missing time with a pectoral injury. His return with Burrow potentially at the helm becomes an interesting streaming option.

David Njoku, Cleveland Browns

SATURDAY UPDATE

Njoku is no longer listed on the injury report, and will be back to action this week. He’ll be working with rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

Brenton Strange, Jacksonville Jaguars

SATURDAY UPDATE

Strange is officially listed as questionable. I’m expecting him to return to action this week, which is a bump for the receiving game for the Jaguars and he’s back in fantasy relevance.

Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills

Kincaid will be listed as a DNP on the projected practice report as practice opens this week. Kincaid’s knee injury is expected to keep him out this week and potentially week 13 as well.
