The Sunday games for NFL Week 14 have come and gone, but not without it's casualties with some big names hitting the NFL injury list today. With fantasy football playoffs starting next week for most these injuries could not be coming at a worse time and will likely make for an interesting Week 15 fantasy football waiver wire period.

NFL Quarterback Injury Updates

Tyler Huntley, Baltimore Ravens (Concussion)

Injury woes continue for the Ravens at the QB position as Huntley goes down with a concussion one week after the team loses Lamar Jackson. Jackson's injury was not considered too severe and he was listed as week-to-week so there is a possibility that Jackson returns in Week 15 but if both Jackson and Huntley can't go next week then we likely see third-string QB Anthony Brown making the start as he was the one to replace Huntley today after he exited the game.

Russell Wilson, Denver Broncos (Concussion)

Wilson was having maybe his best game of the season as he led the Broncos back in Sunday's game against the Chiefs but unfortunately he took a bad hit on a scramble play where it looked pretty clear that he may have been knocked out for at least a brief moment. Wilson was quickly taken into the medical tent and ruled out with a concussion. Brett Rypien came into the game for Wilson and would be the likely candidate to start if Wilson is to miss Week 15.

Kenny Pickett, Pittsburgh Steelers (Concussion)

Pickett took a tough hit in this one and went to the locker room prior to half-time before being ruled out with a concussion. Mitchell Trubisky filled in for Pickett and finished the game. Trubisky figures to start for the Steelers if Pickett is forced to miss extended time.

Mike White, New York Jets (Ribs)

Jets QB Mike White took some nasty hits today include one shot to the ribs that knocked him out of the game for a few plays before he returned. During the team's post-game press conference head coach Robert Saleh told reporters that White was actually taken to the hospital to get his ribs checked out. Joe Flacco entered for White while he was injured but any extended absence could see the return of Zach Wilson.

NFL Running Back Injury Updates

Dameon Pierce, Houston Texans (Ankle)

Pierce suffered an ankle injury during the team's loss to the Cowboys. Pierce was having a solid game for the Texans today but per reports was seen limping around on the sideline. Updated reports for Pierce will be released during the week.

Mike Boone, Denver Broncos (Ankle)

Not a major fantasy impact here but Boone was some running back depth for the Broncos. He was carted off after suffering an ankle injury and did not return. We later saw Marlon Mack  replace Boone as the backup running back and score a 60 yard touchdown on a passing play.

NFL Wide Receiver Injury Updates

Deebo Samuel, San Francisco 49ers (Ankle)

The initial injury did not look good, nor did the body language from Samuel as he was carted off the field but fantasy managers may be able to exhale a bit with reports coming out that Samuel may have avoided a major injury. Now, avoiding major injury could still result in Samuel missing some time here so fantasy managers will need to stay glued to the updates reports this upcoming week.

Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals (Hamstring)

Brutal break for fantasy managers as Higgins was on the injury report with a hamstring injury on Wednesday and Thursday but was not on the team's final injury report on Friday. Unfortunately that didn't matter at all as Higgins played just one snap due to his balky hamstring in Week 14 after re-injury his hamstring during pre-game warmups. Fantasy managers will need to stay glued to the updates this week when it comes to Higgins and his hamstring ahead of Week 15..

Tyler Boyd, Cincinnati Bengals (Finger)

Higgins wasn't the only injury Bengal receiver in Week 14 as Tyler Boyd suffered a dislocated finger during the team's win over the Browns. Though Boyd did not return to the game the team has said the injury isn't considered serious and we should expect to see him available for Week 15 baring any setbacks and he could be in for a bigger role if Tee Higgins has to miss time.

Corey Davis, New York Jets (Concussion)

Jets wide receiver Corey Davis took a tough hit to the back of the head during the team's Week 14 loss to the Bills that has landed him in concussion protocol. The team will be updating his status throughout the week so be sure to tune into the Fantasy Alarm injury report.

NFL Tight End Injury Updates

Daniel Bellinger, New York Giants (Ribs)

Tough blow for the Giants who just got Bellinger back into their lineup last week as he returned from his eye injury only to lose him this week to a rib injury. The team will be releasing further updates on the extent of the injury throughout the week so fantasy managers will need to stay up-to-date as information is released.
