Where To Play NFL Playoff Fantasy Football: DFS + Fantasy League (Playoffs)
I’m not letting fantasy football go quietly into the night. I refuse. There’s just too much football left for us not to have a stake here. For us not to have something on the line. To sweat it out. To feel ALIVE.
Sure, we can tinker with our dynasty and devy teams during the NFL offseason, but there will be 6+ months with no games. I’m playing ‘til the last whistle.
Lucky for us, there are a NUMBER of different games to play regarding NFL playoff fantasy football. So, let me take a moment to give you the basics for those and guide you in the direction of how to get involved in a fantasy football playoff team.
We have 24 hours to cram as much goodness together before kickoff, so there’s no time to waste!
NFL Fantasy Football Playoff: DFS
Simple. Classic. Elegant. And, if you really think about it, we have a full slate here. Take a week like Week 14 for instance. There were 6 teams on bye. And the primetime games on Thursday, Sunday, and Monday night were not on the DraftKings main slate (Sunday night was for FanDuel).
So, you basically had a 10 or 11 game slate depending where you played. If you play this weekend's Saturday-Monday slate, that is 12 games. It’s the last true full DFS slate. So, get to it.
As always, all of our NFL DFS Content is available for Fantasy Alarm members for this week. Just like any other week, all of the DFS Position Coaches and the Playbooks are available on the DFS page on Fantasy Alarm!
Where To Play NFL Playoff DFS:
NFL Fantasy Football Playoff: Single Lineup
Here’s a fun challenge. You get ONE NFL playoff fantasy lineup. That is your team for the entire playoffs. So, you’ll have to plan ahead.
Who do you think makes it to the Super Bowl? Who can give you one spike week? What teams do you want to fade completely? You set your team once and then it is hands-off. May the odds ever be in your favor.
Where To Play NFL Playoff Fantasy Single Lineup:
- FFPC Challenge - for this one, you can only pick ONE player from each team for an added wrinkle. We did a full free write-up for the FFPC Playoff Challenge strategy on that. I also recorded a fantasy football show on the Fantasy Alarm YouTube with Theo Gremminger of PlayerProfiler with some tips and an example lineup! This one is by far my favorite for the NFL playoffs and fantasy football.
- FantasyLife Post-Season Shootout on RT Sports - This one you can use TWO players max from each team. It has a $125 entry so make sure you use promo code BENDER if it’s your first deposit for a 50% match!
NFL Fantasy Football Playoff: “One & Done” Weekly Lineups
For this one, you put together a weekly fantasy football lineup each round of the NFL playoffs. And you can use anyone you want. The catch? Once you use a player, you can’t use them again.
So, if you use Lamar Jackson for the Wild Card then use Jared Goff in the Divisional Round and it’s a Lions vs. Ravens Super Bowl, you're pretty much cooked. I did a full write-up on strategy for One and Done fantasy leagues as well with a color-coded depth chart grid to help out.
Where To Play NFL Playoff Fantasy One & Done:
- Fantasy Alarm is hosting one on RT Sports and then there is the charity contest the Baby Bowl on MFL. If you scroll down to the “Where To Play” section of the above linked article, it has specific details on how to join them!
- On top of those two, you can also join the Fantasy Cares charity challenge where you could win an entry into the Scott Fish Bowl!
NFL Fantasy Football Playoff: Best Ball
This one is super fun. Much like the big regular season best ball contests, all the big prizes are in the last round. But, for this one, the last round is the Super Bowl. So, stacking the right players on the right teams is a puzzle that you need to crack.
Not every draft will go your way, so you may need to draft a couple of them to both get the teams you want and to give yourself enough exposure to different combinations!
This one you draft once and then it is hands off for the entire NFL playoffs - no setting any fantasy football lineups, no maintenance.
Where To Play NFL Playoff Fantasy Best Ball:
- Underdog Best Ball - If you use Underdog promo code ALARM, they will match 50% of your deposit up to $1,000 if it is your first time playing. I put together a Playoff Best Ball Grid as well for Fantasy Alarm members to give you an idea of where you will need to take certain players and when to stack certain teams.
