Dereck Lively NBA Underdog Pick: Higher Than 9.5 Rebounds

This is an interesting spot because Dereck Lively has his hands full defensively with Anthony Davis but will be spending his time around the rim guarding him all night. Daniel Gafford went down with an injury on Monday and will not play in this game or in the near future, putting a big workload on Lively’s shoulders.

De'Andre Hunter NBA Underdog Pick: Higher Than 18.5 Points

This is a dream spot for a lot of offense and with Jalen Johnson out, attention turns to De'Andre Hunter’s scoring to perk up. In four previous games without Johnson, Hunter has gone for 20-plus points in three and had 18 in the fourth, but didn’t play the final 5:42 because of a blowout in that one.

Hunter’s usage rate spikes to 26.2% without Johnson this year and we even saw Hunter start the second half the other day, which makes it possible that he’ll start this game or potentially start the second half again. Hunter and the Hawks are facing off against the league’s worst rated defense in the Utah Jazz. Check and mate.
