Malik Monk Sleeper Fantasy NBA Pick: More Than 10.5 Ast+Reb (1.6x)

Yes, Zach LaVine is coming into the fold, but we’ve seen time and time again, when De’Aaron Fox is off the floor, Malik Monk’s playmaking soars. Monk played 41 minutes the other night, the first without De’Aaron Fox, and was also great on the glass. As a matter of fact, he had 18 potential rebounds and eight boards in that one. 

He also, and this is one of the biggest points of the day, received a whopping 71 passes, which is at least 22 more than anyone else on the Kings. Yes the implementation of Zach Lavine could change that a bit, but when De’Aaron Fox has been off the floor this year Monk’s assist rate spikes 5.7% up to 31% and is now playing with a 43% three-point shooter in LaVine. Look for him to sky above 10.5 assists and rebounds in this spot.

 

 

 

Jordan Clarkson Sleeper Fantasy NBA Pick: More Than 18.5 Points (1.7x)

With Collin Sexton out, we should see Keyonte George enter the starting lineup, but that doesn’t really mean much for Jordan Clarkson. He played 35 minutes off the Jazz bench last game and closed as well. 

Without Sexton this year, Clarkson has a 29% usage rate, which leads the team. The Warriors are a bottom-five defense in the NBA over their last 15 games and Clarkson should get off offensively wherever he wants. This is one of my favorite Sleeper Fantasy Picks immediately.
