NBA DFS Showdown Slate Picks

MVP/Captain

Anthony Davis, Los Angeles Lakers

Anthony Davis has been playing great basketball as of late and is the main reason for the recent surge by the Lakers. The Lakers have won seven of their last 10 games, and the moves they made at the deadline seem to be paying off, and working great next to Davis. Davis has scored over 60 fantasy points in four of his last six games, that's why he is our top option for tonight.

Julius Randle, New York Knicks

Randle has been a consistent fantasy stud all season long, scoring at least 30 points in every game since November. That's right he has scored at least 30 fantasy points in every game since November 21st. He just possesses a crazy floor each night and we have seen him have huge nights as well. Unfourtunelety he has struggled shooting the ball over his last three games which has taken his ceiling from us. He is just 18 for his last 63 from the floor. Maybe he snaps out of it tonight.

D'Angelo Russell, Los Angeles Lakers

Russell is back after a six-game absence and he came back with a fury in the last game. He posted a line of 28 points, nine assists, and five rebounds for 50.25 fantasy points. He and Schroder are the secondary scorers to Anthony Davis with LeBron out, and Russell should continue his success in this tonight.

Utility

RJ Barrett, New York Knicks

Barrett disappointed fantasy owners if you played him last night with him scoring just 16 fantasy points. He also wasn't his normal active self only grabbing two rebounds and dishing out one assist. Before that last game, he had scored at least 36 fantasy points in three straight games. He is not a bad option tonight if Brunson is out. I would probably pivot if Brunson plays.

Dennis Schroder, Los Angeles Lakers

You are getting Schroder at a very solid price of $7,200. Over his last five games he is averaging 35 fantasy points per game. I would think he would take a hit with having the ball in his hands less with Russell handling the ball more, but it didn't in the first game with Russell back.I will be playing Schroder at his price tonight.

Jarred Vanderbilt, Los Angeles Lakers

Vanderbilt has been the perfect Robin to his Batman, Anthony Davis so far in a Lakers uniform. He is a very solid defender grabbing at least one steal in seven straight games including three games with at least two. He has scored at least 20 fantasy points in three straight games, and I like this matchup for him against the Knicks.

Troy Brown Jr., Los Angeles Lakers

Troy Brown is in the starting lineup for the Lakers and he is under $5,000 on DraftKings. He doesn't do anything pretty but he can be very solid for fantasy purposes as he has scored over 24 fantasy points in four of his last five games. Not much ceiling here, but he is a cheaper version of Josh Hart tonight.

Dart Throws

Quentin Grimes, New York Knicks

Grimes is a dart throw option because he is going to play at least 25 minutes night in and night out. For him to have a huge night we need him to knock down shots from behind the arc. In the last three games he has hit at least two three-pointers, he has finished with at least 20 fantasy points. The Lakers defense struggles at times guarding the three-point line, so he could have a big night.

Isaiah Hartenstein, New York Knicks

The thought process here is that Mitchell Robinson has a high chance of getting in foul trouble guarding Anthony Davis tonight. Hartenstein could see 20+ minutes in that case and give you some solid production at just $3,400. The ceiling might not be there tonight, but you can find that elsewhere in your lineup.
