We have some star power in this one with two of the best players in the NBA, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Luka Doncic. It should be a great matchup between these two. Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks
Luka is priced at $900 more than Giannis tonight for the captain spot. It seems like a lot but Doncic has been on an absolute tear recently. Luka has scored over 51 fantasy points in all of his last eight games. That includes two games in the 60s and one game in which he posted a 41/12/12 against the Warriors for 88 fantasy points. Luka is just on another planet recently, and you do not want to be left out if he goes off once again.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks
I get the case for Giannis over Luka tonight because well, he is the Greek Freak. Giannis has also scored over 52 fantasy points in his last nine games including three games in the 60s. Antetokounmpo has a great floor each night, just not quite the ceiling Doncic has. Luka just has to do a ton of it by himself. Giannis doesn't have to with Holiday and Khris Middleton back in the lineup. If you want to stay cheaper than Luka tonight, obviously Giannis is the play.
Jrue Holiday, Milwaukee Bucks
Holiday has been solid himself recently as well. Over his last four games, Jrue has averaged 24.5 points per game 7.5 assists, and 6.3 rebounds for 47 fantasy points per game. I love Jrue as a utility play tonight more so than the captain spot, but if you want to go against the grain, I get it. It might be hard to get Luka and Holiday in lineup together, but I really like pairing him with Giannis.
UTILITY
Christian Wood, Dallas Mavericks
Wood still isn't quite getting the minutes we would like him to get but he is still been very solid. He has only played over 30 minutes in two of his last five games. But, he has still scored over 30 fantasy points in four of his last five games. It's an interesting matchup for him tonight, he will see some of Lopez but I'm sure some of Giannis as well. I do not love the matchup for him, but he can still produce as he did in their last meeting when he posted 35 fantasy points. Wood is a fine play.
Khris Middleton, Milwaukee Bucks
Middleton returned to the Bucks lineup three days ago and he has started off a bit slow. He is playing just 27 minutes and posting a 12/6/3 which seems low. However, he has scored 31 and 33 fantasy points in two of those games. His minutes ramped up to 29 last game, so if he gets over 30 in this matchup he could post a 40 fantasy point night tonight.
Brook Lopez, Milwaukee Bucks
Lopez is also a good play tonight in this matchup. In their last matchup against the Mavericks, he scored 31 fantasy points and recorded four blocks in that game. Lopez has been just a block monster recently recording over three blocks in three of his last five games. Lopez should have no issue scoring 30+ fantasy points in this one.
Tim Hardaway Jr., Dallas Mavericks
Talk about a guy who is on an absolute heater, that is Hardaway. He was inserted back into the starting lineup and he is making the most of it. Over his last five games, he is scoring 24 points per game and shooting 54% from the three-point line en route to 38 fantasy points per game. His price has sky-rocketed up to $6,200, but he is still worth the price. I will say he did struggle in their last meeting going 2-8 from the floor. I am in on the bounceback though.
DART THROWS
Jevon Carter, Milwaukee Bucks
Carter has played an important role for the Bucks this season. However, with Pat Connaughton, Grayson Allen, and Khris Middleton all back in the lineup, we have seen Carter's role decrease a bit playing just 19 minutes in their last game. I look for Carter to get a little more run tonight so the Bucks can throw him on Luka. In their last matchup, Carter scored 28.75 fantasy points. I look for him to have another solid point.
Maxi Kleber, Dallas Mavericks
You probably need to get Kleber in your lineup to be able to afford a few of the top guys. Now, he doesn't have much ceiling but the floor is there for someone who is priced at $3,200. Kleber has scored at least 15 fantasy points in all four of his last games. He scored 18 in the Mavs the last matchup against the Bucks, and if he does that again, you will be happy.
