Happy Friday everyone, I hope the NBA main slate treated you well tonight. To finish the night we have an intriguing matchup for our NBA DFS Showdown. The Suns welcome their second team from New York in the last three nights as Julius Randle and the New York Knicks come to town. It looks as if we will see the Suns big three consisting of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal for the second time this season.

Finding some of the NBA DFS top picks could be easier if you look at Fantasy Alarm’s NBA DFS Projections, powered by FanJections. Let’s dive into the complete breakdown for tonight’s showdown slate.

NBA DFS Showdown CPT/MVP Top Plays

Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns

In the first game with the big three, it was Devin Booker who had the biggest game. We got to see point Booker with him dishing out 12 assists. He also added 34 points on an efficient 9-15 and 14-15 from the free throw line while also adding six rebounds. Booker is the highest-priced player on the slate and rightfully so if he is going to play point guard like that, he has the highest ceiling on the slate.

Kevin Durant, Phoenix Suns

I mentioned in Wednesday's article just how safe Kevin Durant is each and every night. He hasn't finished with fewer than 40 fantasy points since the opening game for the Suns when he scored 39. After missing a few games with an ankle injury, Durant kept up where he left off. He scored 27 game points, grabbed six rebounds, and dished out 46 fantasy points. He is $600 cheaper than Devin Booker so if you want to go KD at the captain spot I get it, and I like it tonight as well.

Julius Randle, New York Knicks

If you want to pay down from Booker and Durant Julius Randle is the best option. After a tough beginning of the season, Randle has been great. Over the last seven games, Randle has scored over 50 fantasy points in five of those games including two games over 60. You can make a case he has the same ceiling as Devin Booker while priced $2,100 cheaper. Randle is a very good option because of the price, and his recent success.

NBA DFS Showdown UTIL Top Plays

Jalen Brunson, New York Knicks

One thing is for sure, if the game stays close like we expect this one to be Jalen Brunson is going to play around 40 minutes. He has been a very good running mate next to an on-fire Julius Randle. Brunson is coming off 46.25 fantasy points where he shot just 6-19 from the field. What we loved to see from Brunson however was the fact he got to the free-throw line 16 times which was a season-high. If he stays that aggressive in this one, I expect another big night from him.

Jusuf Nurkic, Phoenix Suns

Nurkic's price seems like totally a miss-price after his last few games sitting under 8K. Nurkic has been a rebounding monster the last two games and has 35 rebounds between the two leading to 52 and 47 fantasy points in each game. The Knicks are missing their best rebounder in Mitchell Robinson leaving Isaiah Hartenstein and Jericho Sims. I like this matchup for Nurkic and I expect him to dominate once again.

Isaiah Hartenstein, New York Knicks

Jericho Sims is starting at center with Mitchell Robinson injured. However, it is Isaiah Hartenstein who is playing more minutes. He has played 29 minutes twice in the last three games. He is coming off a game in which he scored just 18.5 fantasy points which could keep his rostership down tonight. We love that, as he has a 30-point ceiling tonight against the Suns.

Josh Hart, New York Knicks

Josh Hart is coming off a miserable game where he was held scoreless and finished with just 7.5 points. The Knicks will need Hart out on the court tonight because of his defensive prowess. He will need to be locked into one of the big three for Phoenix. I expect Hart to bounce back in this one and get back to his 20-30 fantasy points as he had in the previous six games.

NBA DFS Showdown Value Plays

Donte DiVincenzo, New York Knicks

It's starting to look like things have shifted in New York with DiVincenzo playing more minutes than Immanuel Quickley. That has been the case in three of the past five games as Thibs has gone with the defensive option over the offensive play. That could be the case once again tonight with the Thibs wanting to lean on Donte DiVincenzo. He is coming off a 41 fantasy point outing in his last game, and I do not expect that tonight, but he could give you 25+.

Immanuel Quickley, New York Knicks

If you want to be a bit riskier, Quickley could be a good option. If he gets hot from the field it will be hard for coach Thibs to get him off the court even with his recent struggle. The upside at $4,400 might be too tantalizing to pass up and he could go off if all the chips fall right and he goes for close to 30+ fantasy points.

Nassir Little, Phoenix Suns

Little matched his season high in minutes in his first game back from the concussion. It looks as if Grayson Allen could be back tonight so that could impact Little's minutes to an extent. However, I would not expect him to fall out of the rotation and if he played 25-30 minutes tonight, he could still hit 5x his value at his $4,000 price tag.
