The NBA season really gets rolling Wednesday with an 11-game slate, and our PrizePicks NBA picks are stacking a rebounding prop and a shooting prop from two opening-night matchups. Zach Edey returns to the Memphis frontcourt against Utah, and Grayson Allen makes his Hornets debut in Brooklyn with two of Charlotte's top shooters sidelined.
Both are Higher plays, and both players averaged more than these numbers last season. Before you build your entry, check where each player lands in Fantasy Alarm's NBA DFS Projections.

Zach Edey PrizePicks NBA Pick: Higher 10.5 Rebounds
Edey only played 11 games last season because of a left ankle injury that eventually required a second surgery in March, but when he was on the floor, he was one of the best rebounders in basketball. He averaged 11.1 rebounds in just 25.8 minutes per game, which works out to 15.5 rebounds per 36 minutes, and he grabbed 15 or more boards at least five times in those 11 games.
The Grizzlies built their rebuild around his health, and the reports out of camp have been encouraging. His minutes climbed steadily through the preseason, from 16 minutes against Chicago to 21 against Charlotte in the exhibition finale, and Memphis has no reason to hold back its starting center in the season opener.
The game environment is ideal for a rebounding prop. Memphis is a 2.5-point home favorite with a 242.5 total at DraftKings, one of the highest numbers on Wednesday's board. More shots mean more misses, and at 7-foot-4, Edey is the biggest target on the floor for every one of them. He only needs 11 boards. Edey at Higher 10.5 rebounds leads our PrizePicks NBA picks.
Grayson Allen PrizePicks NBA Pick: Higher 2.5 Three-Pointers Made
Allen had a career year in Phoenix last season, averaging 16.5 points and 3.1 made threes per game on 8.9 attempts across 51 games. That volume is the reason we like this prop. He needs three makes, and he averaged more than that while taking almost nine threes a night.
Charlotte acquired Allen and Royce O'Neale from the Suns in June, and his role is bigger than expected right out of the gate. Allen is good to go Wednesday, but the Hornets will be without Kon Knueppel and Coby White, two of their highest-volume shooters. Those missing attempts have to go somewhere, and Allen is the obvious beneficiary. He already showed what that looks like in the preseason opener, starting in Knueppel's place and scoring 13 points with three threes in just 14 minutes.
Brooklyn had the worst offense in the NBA last season at 105.9 points per game, and the Nets are only small home favorites with a total around 220. In a low-scoring game, Charlotte will need perimeter shooting to keep pace, and Allen is one of the best shooters on the roster. Add Allen to your PrizePicks NBA picks at Higher 2.5 three-pointers.
