I’ve talked about this for quite a while, but Nic Claxton does NOT improve when Michael Porter is off the floor. Without Porter, Cam Thomas, and Drake Powell this season, Claxton sees a 3.6% USG decrease down to 14.9%. In three of the four back-to-backs, Claxton’s minutes were way down. This number continues to climb, too. He’s a much better rebounder and passer than he is as a scorer.

He’s averaged 33 minutes per game this year, and that could tick up without Doncic and Marcus Smart. He’s as live as ever for a triple-double and/or a season-high in points, which would get us to this number.
