Domantas Sabonis Over 6.5 Assists
When Malcolm Brogdon has been out of the lineup we have seen Sabonis hit the over on this assist total in six of the last 10 games including four of the last five. He notched seven assists against the Cavaliers back in early January in a game that Brogdon also missed. Now, this matchup will certainly be a bit of a challenge given that Caris LeVert is also out after being traded earlier today but the offense is going to run through Sabonis a ton.
Al Horford Over 6.5 Rebounds
Horford is averaging 10 rebounds in two games against the Magic this season and Orland ranks just 24th in rebounding and 26th in opponent defensive rebounds allowed. Horford has hit the over 6.5 rebounds in seven of the last 10 games and in three straight contests as well. While Robert Williams is going to grab his boards, it is encouraging to see Horford this aggressive on the glass right now as well.
Jonas Valanciunas Under 20.5 Points
Listen, I know how bad the Rockets are defensively but even in this matchup Valanciunas only went for 17 points. He has hit the over 20.5 in just nine of the last 30 games played and just once over the last 11 games played. On the season he has a hit rate here of 39%. Again, I get how bad the Rockets are but this number just seems a bit high when the Pelicans are at full strength.
