Over 19.5 Points
PrizePicks finally got wise and fixed the PRA prop for Darius Garland because it had been far too low for about a week. Still, his points prop for today is one to target. Even with Caris LeVert now on the roster, Garland is the leading scorer in this offense and I see no reason for that not to continue in today’s matchup against the Hawks. Atlanta ranks 25th in field goal percentage allowed to the point guard position this season and Garland has hit the over on 19.5 points in eight of the last 10 games, averaging 23.4 points per game during that stretch.
Over 23.5 Points
A 244 game total is mighty attractive when it comes to individual point totals and player props. The Timberwolves have a handful of guys that could all hit their overs today in Anthony Edwards, D'Angelo Russell and Karl-Anthony Towns – but I want to focus on Edwards here. He is really starting to heat up and has hit the over on this mark in four of the last six games, including each of the last three contests. Opponents are shooting 46.5% from the floor against the Hornets this season and it just feels like this matchup is built for Edwards, who is shooting nearly 49% from the floor and 42% from three-point range over this last three-game stretch.
Over 5.0 Rebounds
I don’t know what has gotten into Jae Crowder lately, but the man is a rebounding machine. Over the last six games, he is averaging 9.2 rebounds per game – which is almost double what his prop total is tonight. The Clippers rank just 29th in rebounds allowed per game this season. I’m just going to run with the matchup here because this one feels like a steal given the recent form from Crowder.
Over 5.0 Rebounds
Sticking with the same matchup, we have another forward who has been a rebounding machine of late. Terance Mann has hit over 5.0 rebounds in four of the last five games and he finished with exactly five boards in the one miss. The minutes have jumped for Mann of late and in games where he has played at least 25 minutes this season, he has a near 60% hit rate on the 5.0 rebound total – averaging 5.6 rebounds per game during that stretch. On the season, he is averaging 6.5 rebounds against the Suns as well.
