Jimmy Butler Over 6.5 Assists
We played this one the other day and it hit with Butler finishing with 10 assists in this same matchup against the Raptors and has now finished with 10 assists in both games against Toronto this season. Kyle Lowry is once again out, as he has been for both matchups this season, and with Lowry out Butler has gone over 6.5 assists in seven of the last 10 games and in one of those games he was actually ejected with three assists in just 15 minutes of play. Butler should continue to his strong play against the Raptors here tonight.
Wendell Carter Jr. Over 13.5 Points
In three games against the Bulls this season Carter is averaging 22 points per game. The Bulls are allowing the second most points per game to the power forward position this season, trailing only the Magic for the most points allowed to the position. Carter has also hit the over on tonight's 13.5 point prop in seven of the last 10 games. Carter has expressed disappointment that the Bulls traded him last season for Nikola Vucevic and if you wanted to date back to last year, he has hit the over in 13.5 points in all games against the Bulls since the trade.
Kevon Looney Over 10.0 Rebounds
We didn't get the Looney rebound prop on the board last night and that was too bad because he pulled down 14 boards against the Rockets. He grabbed 15 rebounds against Brooklyn the game before that and he has hit the over on the 10.0 rebounds in six of the last night games with one push. With the Warriors sitting most of their top scorers we should likely expect there to be plenty of rebounding opportunities tonight potentially on the offensive glass where the Spurs rank 29th in opponent offensive rebounding as well as the usual defensive rebounds that Looney tends to swallow up. As long as Draymond Green is out of the lineup the Looney rebound prop is always in play.
Jordan Poole Over 20.5 Points
This one here is a usage rate play. With Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins and Otto Porter off the floor this season Poole has a team high 35.6% usage rate while averaging a team best 0.79 points per minute. Over 30 minutes that rate comes out to 23.7 points. We expect Poole to be the primary scorer for the Warriors tonight and he has a pretty good matchup against a Spurs team that does not generally defend the guard position all that well. In the lone meeting between Poole and the Spurs this season he saw just 23 minutes but finished with 15 points which would have put him on pace to hit over 20.5 had he played a full compliment of minutes. As a starter this season, including games with Wiggins and Curry active, Poole averaged 18.0 points over 30.9 minutes.
