NBA DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups, Injuries & More Today: Tuesday Playbook

It's Tuesday, December 23rd, and we have an 11-game NBA DFS main slate on DraftKings and FanDuel. 

We're in the holiday season and the NBA, with no games on Wednesday, is packing the schedule on Tuesday and DraftKings and FanDuel are giving us 11 game slates. There are NINE teams on the main slate playing on the second leg of a back-to-back and there are stars anywhere with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nikola Jokic, Anthony Davis, and Jalen Johnson taking the floor.

Before actually diving into the meat and potatoes, welcome to the NBA DFS season. If this is your first time reading our column on NBA DFS picks, I just want to welcome you and give you a few tips and tricks on what you should be looking for each night.

• News outlets: reliable sources that give us injury news & starting lineups
• Pace of play: who's playing fast vs. who's playing slow. Which teams get a pace-up spot (more possessions) vs. pace-down (fewer possessions)
• Usage rates: is a percentage of how many plays that player is being used in

• Allen being out gives two players bumps that I'd give a look to: Collin Gillespie & Jordan Goodwin
• Gillespie's over 1 FP/min & Goodwin's right under 1 FP/min. Great matchup & both have seen increased minutes with Allen off the floor.
