NBA DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups, Injuries & More Today: Sunday Playbook

Happy Sunday, December 7th, we have a 5-game NBA DFS main slate on DraftKings and on FanDuel.

We have five games on Sunday's main slate and there are a LOT of injuries around the league as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, LaMelo Ball, and Stephen Curry are all out while Jimmy Butler, LeBron James, and Ja Morant are all questionable or doubtful. All but one of the five games have at least 234 implied points today.

Before actually diving into the meat and potatoes, welcome to the NBA DFS season. If this is your first time reading our column on NBA DFS picks, I just want to welcome you and give you a few tips and tricks on what you should be looking for each night.

News outlets: reliable sources that give us injury news & starting lineups
Pace of play: who's playing fast vs. who's playing slow. Which teams get a pace-up spot (more possessions) vs. pace-down (fewer possessions)

Draymond Green & Al Horford are OUT
The Warriors start Quinton Post on Saturday & he played 32 minutes. With Green and Horford out, we should probably expect that again. Post has played 25 minutes or more in b2b games. Without Green, Horford, and Stephen Curry this year, Post has had a 18.7% USG & .97 FP/min.
UPDATE – 5:05 pm ET
Moussa Diabate is OUT. Ryan Kalkbrenner should approach 30 minutes here. Decent value if he stays out of foul trouble. Mason Plumlee should back him up.
Donovan Clingan & Robert Williams are OUT
Numbers w/o them + Holiday; Deni Avdija (133 mins); 30% USG, 1.68 FP/min - Jerami Grant (142 mins); 32.6% USG, 1.24 FP/min - Shaedon Sharpe (116 mins); 33.8% USG, 1.2 FP/min
They could elect to go small, but I think Portland extends Duop Reath today. Reath is min salary on DK and 3.6K on FD.
