On Saturday, we have a five-game slate on DraftKings and six games on FanDuel. Players such as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Alperen Sengun, Franz Wagner, and Karl-Anthony Towns take the floor. The Thunder, the Wizards, the Hawks, and the Cavaliers are on a back-to-back, and Anthony Davis is the biggest name on the injury report that's currently in question.
Before actually diving into the meat and potatoes, welcome to the NBA DFS season. If this is your first time reading our column on NBA DFS picks, I just want to welcome you and give you a few tips and tricks on what you should be looking for each night.

Each game shows the away team first. BKN @ ATL carries the slate's top total. WAS @ OKC carries blowout risk. BKN @ ATL has the best pace matchup on the slate. 2 games are also on the schedule but not on this DFS slate. Ranks are league-wide, 2026-27; pace rank 1 is fastest, and off and def rank 1 are best. Green marks a better DFS spot and red a worse one, so a weak defense shades green.

Each player is ranked by salary among every player in that site's file eligible at the position, including multi-position players (1 is the highest priced). Players are compared at a position they are eligible for on both sites; when they share more than one, the position with the bigger gap is shown. Rank Gap is how many spots apart the two ranks are; the greener the cell, the bigger the gap. Better Positional Value is the site where the player has the lower position rank (priced lower among players at the position), regardless of the raw salary, since the two sites use different salary scales.
Top Tier Core Plays
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - PG · OKC
SGA is coming off a 28-point performance against Memphis after erupting for 42 and 43 points in consecutive games against Cleveland. The two-time MVP is averaging 29.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game this season while playing 33.2 minutes per contest. With OKC dealing with several key injuries, he should continue to carry a significant offensive workload. His ability to get to the free-throw line, create his own shot, and generate defensive stats gives him the highest floor/ceiling combination on the slate.
Alperen Sengun - PF/C · HOU
Sengun enters the contest averaging 22.4 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 8.1 assists per game while shooting 54.1% from the field. Sengun is coming off an impressive triple-double against Minnesota, finishing with 17 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists in 39 minutes. He also scored 26 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and added 10 assists against Boston in his previous outing. Phoenix has struggled on the glass this season, ranking near the bottom of the league in rebounding, which makes it an appealing matchup for Sengun inside. His combination of scoring, rebounding, and playmaking makes him an attractive option in any format.
Franz Wagner - SF/PF · ORL
Wagner has taken on a major playmaking role for Orlando, making him an intriguing DFS option because he can produce beyond scoring. Through eight games this season, Wagner is averaging 19.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 8.5 assists while logging 36.1 minutes per contest. His recent performances highlight his all-around upside, as he recorded 15 points, eight rebounds, 15 assists, and four steals against Phoenix, following a 24-point outing against Washington and a 14-point, 12-assist performance against Boston. The increased ball-handling responsibility gives him multiple avenues to accumulate fantasy production, particularly through assists, rebounds, and defensive stats. His shooting has been inconsistent, however, connecting on just 19.4% of his three-point attempts this season. Wagner's heavy minutes and expanded role make him one of the top tournament options on the slate.
Jalen Brunson - PG · NYK
Brunson remains a focal point of New York's offense and brings plenty of upside with his scoring and playmaking. He is averaging 25.6 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game while shooting 48.5% from the field this season. Brunson has been productive recently, recording 33 points and four assists against Chicago, 24 points and six assists against Philadelphia, and an impressive 38-point, seven-assist performance against Chicago earlier in the week. He also contributes through three-point shooting, averaging 2.8 made threes per game. With Hart sidelined, Brunson could have additional opportunities to handle the ball and facilitate the offense.
Mid-Tier Core Plays
Julius Randle - PF · BKN
Randle has established himself as a major offensive presence for Brooklyn, providing value through his scoring, rebounding, and playmaking. He is averaging 21.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game while playing 33.8 minutes this season. Randle has been particularly productive lately, scoring at least 20 points in four consecutive games, including a 22-point performance against Charlotte and 21 points with 11 rebounds against New York. He also posted 24 points and nine rebounds against Boston, demonstrating his ability to produce across multiple categories. His 27.8% usage rate reflects his importance to Brooklyn's offense, while his ability to create shots off the dribble and attack the basket adds upside.
OG Anunoby - PF · NYK
Anunoby brings upside through his ability to contribute in several categories, particularly steals, rebounds, and three-point shooting. He is averaging 16.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.1 steals per game while playing 32.9 minutes this season. Anunoby has scored 18 points in each of his last two outings, adding five rebounds and three steals against Chicago before finishing with four rebounds, two assists, and two steals against Brooklyn. He also scored 23 points against Chicago earlier in the season. New York faces Cleveland, who plays at a top-10 pace and has had a middling defense this season.
Kyshawn George SG · WAS
George has been putting together an impressive stretch for Washington and becomes a top priority if Davis misses again. George is averaging 17.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game while playing 32.6 minutes this season. He has scored at least 22 points in three consecutive games, including a season-high 33 points against Atlanta on Friday, where he added four rebounds, seven assists, one steal, and two blocks in 39 minutes with Davis sidelined. He also knocked down five three-pointers in that performance and has made at least three triples in four straight games. George is in play regardless, but he becomes a primary target if Davis gets ruled out.
Ajay Mitchell - PG/SG · OKC
Mitchell has emerged as a valuable contributor for Oklahoma City, benefiting from an expanded role and increased offensive responsibility. He is averaging 19.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game while adding 1.3 steals across nine appearances this season. Mitchell has been especially productive recently, pouring in 35 points against Memphis on Friday after posting 23 points, seven rebounds, and four assists against Cleveland. He also recorded 29 points against Dallas, showcasing his scoring ability when given additional opportunities. Oklahoma City faces Washington, who could be without Anthony Davis again and just allowed 139 points to an Atlanta team missing Jalen Johnson.
Value Tier Core Plays
Mario Hezonja - SF/PF · CLE
Allen, Tyson, and Merrill are all out again, which should put Hezonja back in an impactful role. Hezonja is averaging 9.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 20.4 minutes per game this season, showing an ability to contribute beyond scoring. His recent production has been encouraging, including 15 points and 10 rebounds against Philadelphia, followed by back-to-back games with 12 points and 8 rebounds against Oklahoma City. He also grabbed 11 rebounds against Milwaukee, highlighting his value on the glass. With Cleveland missing multiple rotation pieces, Hezonja could benefit from increased playing time and a larger role in the offense. His rebounding ability and recent production make him one of the top value options on the slate.
Day'Ron Sharpe - C · BKN
Sharpe is averaging 7.1 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.1 blocks per game this season while adding 0.6 steals. His rebounding presence lets him contribute even when his scoring volume is limited, and his passing adds another dimension to his fantasy production. With Brooklyn's frontcourt rotation giving him a chance to handle a larger role, his minutes will be an important factor to monitor. His combination of rebounding, blocks, and efficiency around the basket makes him an interesting value option.
Alex Sarr - C · WAS
Sarr is averaging 10.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game this season. He has shown encouraging production recently, recording 13 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and four combined steals and blocks against Atlanta on Friday with Davis out. He also finished with 11 points, nine rebounds, and three combined steals and blocks in his previous meeting with the Hawks. Sarr's defensive contributions add to his upside, giving him multiple ways to accumulate fantasy points even when his scoring is limited. With Washington facing Oklahoma City, his ability to protect the paint and contribute on the glass will be important. Sarr is in play due to his price regardless of Davis' status, but he's an elite value option if Davis is out again.
Mikel Brown - PG/SG · BKN
Brown Jr. continues to adjust to the NBA and carve out a larger role in the backcourt. Through six games this season, the rookie is averaging 12.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in 22.8 minutes per contest. He has shown encouraging flashes recently, most notably scoring 18 points with four assists against Charlotte on November 4 after recording 17 points and five assists against Boston. Brown's ability to handle the ball, create scoring opportunities, and contribute as a playmaker gives him fantasy upside at his salary. However, his shooting has been inconsistent, connecting on just 33.8% of his field-goal attempts and 29.7% from three-point range. His playing time and offensive involvement will be important factors to monitor, but his recent production makes him a value option worth considering.
Nolan Traore - PG · BKN
Traore has started to make an impact in Brooklyn's backcourt, showing encouraging scoring ability and playmaking potential as his role continues to develop. He is averaging 12.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game this season while shooting efficiently from beyond the arc. Traore has been particularly productive recently, scoring 16 points against Charlotte, 17 points against New York, and 16 points with six assists against Indiana. He has also shown defensive upside, recording three steals against Charlotte and adding a block against the Knicks. His increased involvement is reflected in his recent playing time, averaging 26.2 minutes over his last five games. With Brooklyn facing Atlanta, Traore's recent scoring consistency and growing backcourt responsibilities make him an intriguing value option.
