Happy Friday! It's Friday, November 7th, and we have an 8-game NBA DFS main slate on DraftKings and FanDuel.

There's massive star power on the main slate as Victor Wembanyama, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Cade Cunningham are all taking the floor. We have three games with 240 implied points, stars dealing with injuries, and nobody on a back-to-back.

Before actually diving into the meat and potatoes, welcome to the NBA DFS season. If this is your first time reading our column on NBA DFS picks, I just want to welcome you and give you a few tips and tricks on what you should be looking for each night.

News outlets: reliable sources that give us injury news & starting lineups
Pace of play: who's playing fast vs. who's playing slow. Which teams get a pace-up spot (more possessions) vs. pace-down (fewer possessions)
Usage rates: is a percentage of how many plays that player is being used in

LaMelo Ball & Collin Sexton have been downgraded to DOUBT.
Likely starting 5 for Charlotte: Tre Mann - Sion James - Kon Knueppel - Miles Bridges - Ryan Kalkbrenner
They could use KJ Simpson over Mann, but that wouldn't impact Mann too much
Without Ball, Miller & Sexton this year: Tre Mann (51 mins) - 27.4% USG / Miles Bridges (41 mins) - 33.5% USG / KJ Simpson (28 mins) - 23.4% USG
UPDATE - 6:05 pm ET
Kyshawn George is OUT. Remains to be seen what their starting lineup looks like, but Justin Champagnie is likely the guy getting his number called. He's 3.4K on DK.
UPDATE - 6:45 pm ET
Tre Johnson is STARTING for the Washington Wizards. He was also in the closing lineup for the blowout the other day.
On the year, Johnson has a 20% USG & .8 FP/min. Without George & Coulibaly it's around the same number.
