Friday's here and with it comes a seven game NBA DFS main slate. The big news of the day here is that Kyrie Irving is not going to play for the Dallas Mavericks tonight which means Luka Doncic has the team to himself against the Atlanta Hawks. We also have high expected totals between the Phoenix Suns and Indiana Pacers along with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Milwaukee Bucks playing for the fourth time this season.

Notable NBA Game Totals

Top Tier Core Plays

Luka Doncic, PG Dallas Mavericks

Kyrie Irving is already ruled out for tonight which means we get solo Luka Doncic here in a great spot against the Atlanta Hawks who may be once again without Trae Young. Doncic is AVERAGING 74 fantasy points over the past three games and he has an elite usage rate and fantasy point per minute output when Kyrie Irving is off the floor.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, PF Milwaukee Bucks

Back-to-back 30-point triple-doubles for Giannis has led to back-to-back 80+ fantasy point outputs. The Bucks are running it back against the Cavaliers here and there really isn't anything anyone can do to stop Giannis when he is getting involved in every facet of the game like he's been.

Alperen Sengun, C Houston Rockets

We've been using centers against the Charlotte Hornets for what feels like a decade now and that won't be changing here tonight with Sengun getting the matchup. Over the last three games for Sengun he has finished with at least 57 fantasy points with a high of 69. He is capable of triple-doubling and is a usage monster when on the floor.

James Harden, PG Los Angeles Clippers

Harden was already looking to be in a good spot tonight against the Raptors with the prospects that Dennis Schroder was going to be starting with Immanuel Quickley ruled out but now we have a mid-day downgrade of Paul George to questionable and that will only open up more shot attempts for Harden here in this starting lineup.

Mid-Tier Core Plays

Jarrett Allen, C Cleveland Cavaliers

Allen has been a monster against the Bucks this season, averaging nearly 50 fantasy points in the three games they've played against Milwaukee this season. Last time out he had 21 points, 12 rebounds and five assists in this same matchup. The price hasn't adjusted much and Allen should continue to thrive here in this spot.

Jalen Williams, SF/PF Oklahoma City Thunder

A favorite play of ours this season, we are looking at a high scoring and competitive matchup against the Pelicans here tonight and with most of the defensive focus going towards stopping SGA, there is plenty of room for Williams to give us the 5-6x return on his price tag tonight.

C.J. McCollum, PG New Orleans Pelicans

Staying in that game, most of the Pelicans are too cheap but McCollum is the cheapest of the “big 3” with Ingram and Zion both being more expensive. We've gotten 40+ fantasy points from McCollum in three of the last four games.

Brandon Miller, SG/SF Charlotte Hornets

The rookie is breaking out before our eyes. He has scored at least 23 actual points in four straight games and with Terry Rozier now in Miami and Gordon Hayward still on the injured list the usage rate is going to be there for the #2 overall pick to shine in this spot against a Rockets team that has seen their defense struggle over the past month.

Value Tier Core Plays

Wendell Carter Jr., C Orlando Magic

We loved playing Wendell Carter Jr. last year but this year he got hurt and it was a slow build to getting him back as a full time player. Well, he is finally a guy starting with a minutes ceiling that will get him into the 30s in competitive games. The matchup tonight against the Grizzlies is elite as Memphis is undersized at the position and not great at rebounding the basketball. Their front court is also very foul happy which could lead to a few three throw attempts going to Carter this evening.

Caris LeVert, SG/SF Cleveland Cavaliers

Just too cheap for a guy that can get you 40 fantasy points. We were comfortable paying more for him prior to his injury but the price tag has dropped a bit and the minutes should continue to be there. He is an elite fantasy point per minute producer.

Dennis Schroder, PG Toronto Raptors

With Immanuel Quickley ruled out we look for Schroder to re-enter the starting lineup as the starting point guard for the Raptors this evening. Schroder has been a strong fantasy producer this year when giving the starting minutes and no, no longer competing with Pascal Siakam or Immanuel Quickley for shot attempts could lead to a nice game here against the Clippers this evening.

Norman Powell, SG/SF Los Angeles Clippers

While we likely see Amir Coffey enter the starting lineup for Paul George if he ends up being ruled out tonight I am going to my guy Norman Powell. Powell is a great offensive player that with increased minutes could give us 20 actual point here this evening.
