Point Guard
Russell Westbrook , WAS
Of course Westbrook is going to be my top point guard for today's slate. In 33 minutes against the Pacers he went for 18-8-15 for 50 fantasy points and truthfully, that is likely his FLOOR level of production right now. He does have a tough test ahead of him with Ben Simmons being an elite defender and Joel Embiid protecting the rim but just from a pure volume standpoint you know that RWB is going to play 40 minutes and his ability to fill up the stat sheet always puts him in contention to be the top scoring fantasy player of the day.
Shooting Guard
Donovan Mitchell , UTA
What are we going to get out of Mitchell after all the time he missed heading into the playoffs? The unknown is certainly a bit scary but I like that he comes into today with zero injury designation. If I had to guess, Mitchell was probably ready to play towards the end of the year but the Jazz had no reason to risk further re-injury with their playoff spot locked up. If you remember last year's run for the Jazz then you definitely remember how Mitchell was a dominant force on the floor with upside of 60+ fantasy points. I like him as my GPP play with others possibly opting to go elsewhere given the long layoff.
Small Forward
LeBron James , LAL
I mean....is there really anyone else? Playoff LeBron showed up against the Warriors as he finished with 58 FanDuel points and a triple-double, scoring 22 points with 11 rebounds, 10 assists, one block and two steals. This is going to be an interesting matchup with the Suns being the shock of the league this season going up against the defending champions. Mikal Bridges and Jae Crowder are going to have their handsful today with LeBron but lets be real for a second, there is no shutting down LeBron James .
Power Forward
Julius Randle , NYK
Randle was the leader of the Knicks this season and a huge reason they were the No.4 seed in the East. The matchup against the Hawks is one that he should have little trouble with. What we love about Randle this season is the overall game development as he became an efficient outside shooter as well as somebody that is filling up the stat sheet as he averaged 23.8 points, 10.1 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game for the season. In THREE games against the Hawks this season he is averaging 37.3 points, 12.3 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game.
Center
Clint Capela , ATL
We can't spend up for everybody so while I certainly love me some Joel Embiid today I think my highest rostered center is going to be Clint Capela here against the Knicks. We have loved using centers against the Knicks this season and in three games against New York this season Capela is averaging 17.3 points, 17.3 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 1.3 steals per game. In their last meeting he went for 25 points and 22 boards. He is the third highest priced center on FanDuel today and the sixth highest priced center eligible player on DraftKings and that is good enough value for me.
