Key Injuries
Malcolm Brogdon - Questionable
Edmond Sumner - Questionable
Capt/MVP
Russell Westbrook , PG - I mean, obviously right? It's a single game contest and Westbrook has the ability to drop 100 fantasy points as the CPT/MVP play. In three games against the Pacers this season Westbrook is AVERAGING 88 fantasy points on DraftKings......you read that correctly....in THREE GAMES he is AVERAGING 27.3 points, 18.0 rebounds and 20.0 assists.
Domantas Sabonis , PF/C - IF you aren't spending up for Westbrook tonight then the only other option here is going to be Sabonis. Like Westbrook, Sabonis has dominated this matchup as he is averaging 32.3 points, 14.3 rebounds and 9.3 assists for nearly 70 FP. Sabonis went for 57 DK points against the Hornets the other night, scoring 14 points while grabbing 21 rebounds and dishing out nine assists.
Ish Smith - If you want a dart throw captain, somebody cheap enough that maybe you can fit BOTH Westbrook and Sabonis in your utli spots then Ish Smith could be your man. Over the last two games he is avearging 36.5 fantasy points while playing 32 and 26 minutes. He has started seeing the floor over Raul Neto who is coming off the hamstring injury and if that trend continues then you could see 50-to-60 FP out of Smith as your captain play tonight. In two games against the Pacers this season Smith is averaging 20 FP over 18 minutes.
UTIL
Malcolm Brogdon , PG - Brogdon is qusetionable to play today but saw 21 minutes against the Hornets in the Pacers blowout win. In a more competitive game I would expect to see Brogdon play closer to 30 minutes. Over his 21 minutes he was solid, scoring 16 points while dishing out eight assists on 6-of-10 shooting. He went for 45 FP in his lone game against the Wizards this season.
Bradley Beal , SG - Beal, though saying he isn't 100%, still playing 36 minutes against the Celtics and finished with 22 points, nine rebounds and six assists. It's going to be a two-man show for the majority of the Wizarsd offensive possesions with Beal and Westbrook on the floor. Beal is expensive but we know his upside can be as great as anyone else in this game.
Oshae Brissett, PF - Brissett has been one of the better surprises over the final month or so of the season as he saw increased playing time due to all the injuries sustained by the Pacers. Against the Hornets he scored 23 points while pulling down five boards for 33 FP. His numbers against the Wizards this season are a bit more pedestrian as he is averaging just 18 FP over 25.2 minutes.
T.J. McConnell , PG - McConell gets plenty of run as the backup guard for the Pacers and if Malcolm Brogdon continues to be limited then we know the upside that McConnell brings to the table. Against the Wizards this season he averages nearly 30 FP over 25 minutes.
Rui Hachimura , PF - It wa a rough night against Boston for Hachimura as he found himself in foul trouble and therefore only played 17 minutes. We should expect him to see more playing time tonight assuming fouls don't continue to be an issue. Against the Pacers this season he is averaging 34 FP over 34 minutes.
Doug McDermott , PF - The Pacers are full of front court players but lately McDermott has been one of the more consistent on their roster. With the injuries to Malcolm Brogdon and Caris LeVert being out we have seen the scorign upside here from Dougie McBuckets. Over his last six games he is averaging 25 FP, shooting 57% from the floor and 47% from three-point range.
Dart Throw
Daniel Gafford , C - One of the higher boom or bust plays on the slate. In limited minutes Gafford is a fantasy point per minute monster. The problem tends to be the inconsistency in playing timie and his proneness for fouls. If he stays out of foul trouble he has the highest upside of any Wizarsd centers given both his offensive skillset and shot blocking upside. In three games against the Pacers this season he is averaging 10.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.7 blocks (19.7 DK points) over 15.4 minutes per game.
