Saturday is here! There are six games today, the first beginning at 6:00 PM ET with the New York Knicks playing the Charlotte Hornets. The latest game begins at 8:30 PM ET with the Oklahoma City Thunder playing against the Golden State Warriors. The featured game on NBATV is the Dallas Mavericks at the Milwaukee Bucks with a tip off at 8:00 PM ET. This game has several All-Star greats, and could be the highest scoring game of the night. Six teams are on the second of back-to-back games, they are; New York Knicks, Charlotte Hornets, New Orleans Pelicans, Chicago Bulls, Milwaukee Bucks, and San Antonio Spurs. Today’s Fantasy Alarm Best Bets will take advantage of one of these teams playing back-to-back games with a short bench. It also looks at a prop bet with good odds on Rudy Gobert, and we look at a game with opponents that played two days ago, Thunder @ Golden State. The crazy part is the bookies still haven’t moved the line accordingly.

BET OF THE NIGHT

Head-2-Head Points Anthony Edwards > Brandon Ingram (-145) DraftKings Sportsbook

Anthony Edwards has not scored as much in his last two games but is still averaging 26.3 points per game, 13th best in the Association. The Minnesota Timberwolves have not played since Wednesday, while the New Orleans Pelicans are coming off of a tough battle against the Denver Nuggets last night. Ingram played a little over thirty-eight minutes last night and scored 21 points. The Timberwolves won their match against the Pelicans on November 8, 122-101 and in that contest Anthony Edwards scored 26 points to Brandon Ingram’s 24. This game is at the Smoothie Center, but Ingram could see his minutes go down on the second of back-to-back games. Anthony Edwards averages more, scored more in their previous meeting, and is more well rested. It seems logical and is the best bet of the night.

PROP OF THE NIGHT

Rudy Gobert Over 11.5 Rebounds (-115) MGM

Rudy Gobert has benefitted just as Anthony Edwards has from the three days rest. R. Gobert is averaging 12.3 rebounds per game and will be up against the New Orleans Pelicans who allow the third most rebounds per game. Nikola Jokic was able to grab 16 rebounds last night, and R. Gobert can do it too. In fact, R. Gobert snagged 21 rebounds in their match up on November 8. Although R. Gobert and Jonas Valanciunas are 31 years old, R. Gobert is more agile, and has played over an hour more minutes in the still young season. Karl-Anthony Towns has been on a tear lately and it has caused his teammates statistics to drop, but the Minnesota Timberwolves will be playing with intensity after their first loss of the season. The Pelicans could have several missed shots with tired legs tonight, which benefits R. Gobert. Trust him to get 12 rebounds against the Pelicans.

STRAIGHT BET OF THE NIGHT

Oklahoma City Thunder Moneyline (-115) MGM

The Oklahoma City Thunder demolished the Golden State Warriors 128 - 109 Thursday. Granted they did so without Stepen Curry or Draymond Green, but that could be the case again tonight. D. Green is suspended and S. Curry is questionable. The Thunder are 8-4 and did not luck their way there. They are one of the best passing teams in the Association and have legitimate young superstars. In the game Thursday, Shai-Gilgeious Alexander scored 24 points, rookie Chet Holmgren had a double-double, Josh Giddy had 19 points and 6 rebounds, and Isaiah Joe had 23 points off the bench. They are a complete team playing in great rhythm. The line could move dramatically if Stephen Curry is declared out, but this line should not be anywhere near even, jump on it!
