The NBA Trade Deadline is right around the corner and so is the NBA All-Star break, so we have a LOT going on right now in the NBA streets.

NBA Injury Report Ahead of Week 16 Games: Fantasy Basketball Injuries

We had an NBA trade shake up the sports world over the weekend as the Dallas Mavericks traded away Luka Doncic and received Anthony Davis in return.

Let's dive into the fantasy basketball waiver wire adds and the top players we’re monitoring in terms of NBA injuries.

NBA Week 15 Injury Report

Luka Doncic Injury Update - Calf

Aside from the fact that Luka Doncic is now a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, the basketball side of things are back. He’s slated to return on February 8th against the Indiana Pacers.

Cam Thomas Injury Update - Hamstring

The Nets gave us an update on Cam Thomas, and he’s expected to return after the All-Star break.

Zach LaVine Injury Update - Personal

Zach LaVine didn’t play on Sunday but is expected to return this Tuesday, so he’ll be good to go this week in fantasy basketball. Although, it will no longer be in a Bulls uniform.

Julius Randle Injury Update - Groin

Groin injuries are tricky and head coach Chris Finch said they’re preparing to be without Julius Randle for a while.

Fantasy Basketball Week 16 Waiver Wire

Toumani Camara, Portland Trail Blazers - 33% Rostered on Yahoo! Fantasy

Possibly the safest option on this week’s fantasy basketball waiver wire is Toumani Camara, at least amongst players under 50% rostered.

Toumani Camara is always on the floor, playing 34-plus minutes in six straight games and has failed to put up less than 20 fantasy points in any of them. The scoring and rebounding has really come around as Camara was known as a defensive-first player.

Stephon Castle, San Antonio Spurs - 31% Rostered on Yahoo! Fantasy

Stephon Castle has looked really, really good since re-entering the starting lineup and what solidified things are the minutes even since Jeremy Sochan returned.

Castle’s been awesome everywhere as he’s scored in double-figures in four straight, has six or more assists, steals, and rebounds in three of four games and has played 30-plus minutes in them as well. Castle’s ability to stuff the box score makes him an elite fantasy add.

Zaccharie Risacher, Atlanta Hawks - 26% Rostered on Yahoo! Fantasy

If I had to rank the list of adds on this week's fantasy basketball waiver wire, I’d be ranking Zaccharie Risacher first. Jalen Johnson is going to miss the remainder of the year and the Hawks, as we all know, used the first overall pick on Risacher in this past draft.

Risacher, since returning from injury, has looked REALLY great. He’s scored 17-plus points in back-to-back games and has put up at least 26-plus fantasy basketball points in all three he’s played in. There is nothing stopping him from learning on the job now with Jalen Johnson’s out.

Isaiah Collier, Utah Jazz - 22% Rostered on Yahoo! Fantasy

The Utah Jazz continue to run out Isaiah Collier as their starting point guard over Keyonte George. It’s an interesting approach, but it’s what they’re doing. Collier has been great at passing the ball notching six or more assists in all but ONE game since 2025 started.

The scoring has been trending upwards lately too, notching four straight double-figure scoring outputs. There’s nothing stopping Utah’s development of Isaiah Collier for the remainder of the year.

Matas Buzelis, Chicago Bulls - 9% Rostered on Yahoo! Fantasy

This is something that we need to get ahead of. The NBA trade deadline is right around the corner and the Bulls are one of the team’s most likely to blow things up.

That would put Matas Buzelis in our sights and truthfully, he’s already there. The last three games, we’ve seen Buzelis top 20 minutes and in back-to-back games he’s scored in double-figures as well.
