For those of you checking out my recommendations for the first time, I group the players in A,B,C,D Tiers as a play on the old A,B,C,D basketball camps and as an easy way to distinguish player tiers. (All prices are according to Draft Street). A-All Star priced players that should put up All Star stats today (target 35+ FP, $15,000-on up).

* F LaMarcus Aldridge (17.3%) You probably can not go wrong with Kevin Love or Anthony Davis, LA’s prices is about 5-7 thousand dollars cheaper and he is facing a Bucks team that is without Larry Sanders and possibly without ZaZa Pachuilla (flu).

* Jrue Holiday (13.4) put almost 30 Fantasy Points against the Jazz last week, and although the Jazz get rookie Trey Burke back tonight he is not known for his defense.

B-rated Ballers: Big name players with big games, but not as high of a price tag as the top five or so priced players at each position (around 30 FP, $12,000-$15,000).

* G Bradley Beal (12.9%) got into early foul trouble last night, but still finished with 32-plus Fantasy Points, and had 28-plus when he faced the Cavs four days ago. Rodney Stuckey and DeMar DeRozan are also in play

* F Martell Webster (10.4%) Ariza is still out, Webster has played over 40 minutes the last two games, and scored over 20 Fantasy Points the last time he faced the Cavs, and has 30-plus upside.

* Amir Johnson (11.4%) Thaddeus Young is not in the lineup (personal), which should make things a little easier for Johnson

C-as in players that COULD be in line to provide you with good to great value in the mid-tier price range (target 25+ FP, $8,000-$12,000).

* F Harrison Barnes (10.7%)  with Curry out Andre Iguodala will take on more of a point guard role with Barnes likely starting/playing starting minutes.

* F Channing Frye (8.2%) scored over 27 Fantasy Points against the Kings last night in 30 minutes of action.

D-Discounted Dandies: Players on the cheap whose production may exceed what their discounted price tag suggests. (Double Digit Fantasy Production, $3,500-$8,000).

* G Jerryd Bayless (7.7%) Tony Allen is out so Bayless should start.

* F Quincy Pondexter (6.7%) Q-Pon should see additional minutes with Toney Allen out and a matchup versus the Warriors is favorable for his style of play.
