Great night to attack some daily hoops with six games on the schedule. Russell Westbrook is the top option tonight, but is not the safest option because the Thunder got blown out when they faced the Spurs about two weeks ago. However, he is still a great option because of his ability to produce huge fantasy numbers.
The point guard position is top heavy with plenty of great options at the top, but little quality value options at the bottom. Tyreke Evans is the top option at the position (besidesWestbrook) because he has a nice price tag and has the ability to explode for a big game. Ray McCallum is the best value option at the position because he'll have to do more with DeMarcus Cousins out.
Spend money on shooting guards tonight as Dwyane Wade and Klay Thompson are clearly the top options and they don't cost that much. Eric Bledsoe just hasn't been playing well recently, which is why I'm avoiding him tonight. Danny Green is a quality mid-tier player that will exceed value if this game stays close. Anthony Morrow is a fantastic GPP option because he could crush his value, but there is also the risk of him not making shots, which means he'd have a hard time reaching value. Kevin Martin is sneaky GPP option.
Kawhi Leonard was clearly the top option at the small forward position,but Rudy Gay becomes the top option now that he is playing and Cousins is not playing. Pairing those two players is a great strategy on Fanduel. Demarre Carroll is going to exceed value if he plays 30-plus minutes. Wesley Johnson and P.J. Tucker are good players to target if you want to save some money at the position.
The power forward position is looking like the best place to save money as Marvin Williams and Brandan Wright are some of the best value plays of the day. Both players are going to play heavy minutes for their respective teams, which will lead to big fantasy numbers. Blake Griffin has the highest ceiling at the position. Markieff Morris is ridiculously cheap on Aces and DraftKings.
The center position is led by Enes Kanter, who put up 16 points and 10 rebounds in only 22 minutes of playing time last time these two teams faced off. Bismack Biyombo continues to be a solid value option with Al Jefferson out. Al Horford has been very inconsistent recently, but he does get a slight bump in value with Paul Millsap out, which makes him a good GPP option on Aces/DK.
