How does a trip to the beaches of Southern California and your share of $100,000 sound this winter? Show off your fantasy basketball prowess by playing and qualifying for the FABC over on Fantasy Aces and you could be the envy of every DFS player in the world.
It is another big night in the daily hoops as there are 14 games on the slate on Friday night. Russell Westbrook continues to put up amazing numbers without Kevin Durant in the lineup (he put up 82 fantasy points on DraftKings last night), which is why he is the top player tonight. Kevin Love and J.R. Smith become superb options with LeBron and Kyrie out.
The rest of the point guard position has some quality value plays as Reggie Jackson has flourished as the starting point guard for the Pistons and Mike Conley's price tag is absurdly low for a player of his caliber. Ricky Rubio is a still a good value play on Aces. The shooting guard position has a lot of quality mid-tier plays. While a lot of people are going to pay up for Jimmy Butler, his price tag is extremely high across the board, which makes him a bad play because he has to have a huge game just to reach value. Therefore, I'll be avoiding him and will go with the mid-tier route on most sites. Klay Thompson is a lock for 30 FP and his price tag on Fanduel and Aces makes him a quality option on those sites. J.R. Smith is good GPP option because he'll see an increase of shots with Kyrie Irving out. The Kings give up the most points to opposing shooting guards, which is why I don't mind playing Danny Green tonight if the veterans sit out.
The small forward position is filled with great options tonight. Rudy Gay is the best option at the position because the Kings have no else to score the ball. There are some quality mid-tier plays in Luol Deng, Nicolas Batum, and Danilo Gallinari. The power forward position is a great place to find value as Taj Gibson is the best value option at the position because he will start with Pau Gasol out. Terrence Jones is still a solid option even though his price tag has increased.Derrick Favors is a great option on Aces because he's super cheap there and he gets to face the depleted front court of the Nuggets. However, I'd rather use Greg Monroe on Fanduel because he has a higher ceiling than Favors and costs only $100 more on that site. J.J. Hickson becomes a great punt play with Nurkic out.
The center position is loaded with so many great options in Al Jefferson, Hassan Whiteside, Joakim Noah, and Marcin Gortat. Noah will flirt with a triple-double and is one of my favorite options at the position. Also, Omer Asik continues to crush his value, but his ceiling his 30 fantasy points.
