Thunder vs. Pacers Predictions, Picks & Odds: NBA Finals Game 6, 6/19

For the first time in the 2025 NBA Finals, a team won back-to-back games! The Oklahoma City Thunder now have a 3-2 lead, but in order to close things out without a Game 7 against the Pacers, they’ll have to do so on the road in Indiana. As we prepare for that matchup, we’ve got our best Thunder vs. Pacers predictions for Game 6.Â
Having now hit FIVE straight NBA Finals best bets, we’re also back with another best bet from our Thunder vs. Pacers picks paired with a GUARANTEED two-part Chalkboard Fantasy promo code bonus!Â

Thunder vs. Pacers Predictions For NBA Finals Game 6, 6/19
Not only was it the first time a team won back-to-back NBA Finals games, but it was also the first time that the Pacers have lost back-to-back games this postseason. Furthermore, it’s now the first time that Indiana has trailed in a series.
That in itself is quite remarkable, and of course, the Tyrese Haliburton injury scare certainly didn’t help their case in Game 5. Neither did their turnovers. They started early and often to cancel out their hot shooting start, and ultimately, their 23 led to 32 points for Jalen Williams and the Thunder.
That’s right - we noted Williams before Shai Gilgeous-Alexander this time, and you’ll soon see why. Before we fully break down his epic night, the two became the first Thunder duo to score 30+ each in an NBA Finals. With that helping them win Game 5 in a series that was 2-2, history says those teams go on to win the series 74% of the time.
So, will they close things out on the road? Let’s continue to work towards the best bet from our Thunder vs. Pacers predictions to help answer that!

Oklahoma City Thunder: Jalen Williams Steals The Show
Despite SGA surpassing 30 points yet again, Game 5 was all about OKC’s Jalen Williams. It had been trending this way, as the writing was on the wall with him increasing his scoring in each game of the NBA Finals. He’s put up 17, 19, 26, 27, and now a 40 burger against the Pacers!
He became the third-youngest player to do so, and perhaps even more impressive was another feat that he pulled off. Jalen Williams also became the third-youngest player in NBA history to put up three straight 25+ point games in the NBA Finals. It helped the team post their 83rd win this year, which is tied for the fourth-most in league history.

Â
Indiana Pacers: Haliburton Hobbled
On the complete opposite end of the spectrum was Indiana’s big star, who was anything but one due to that aforementioned injury. Tyrese Haliburton left the game in the first quarter with right calf tightness before returning with a wrap on his leg. Unfortunately for the Pacers and their fans, it was clearly a bigger issue than that.
Haliburton was so far from his clutch self that he didn’t score a SINGLE field goal in Game 5! That was the first time the point guard did that in 36 playoff games, finishing with just four total points. He’s also been one who focuses on facilitating with assists, but not even one field goal means he clearly wasn’t 100%.

Thunder vs. Pacers Best Bet: Andrew Nembhard Over 10.5 Points (Enjoy Player Picks At Chalkboard Fantasy)
As we’ve shared, we’ve hit all five of our NBA Finals best bets! Interestingly enough, we’re targeting what could be the end of the series with how it began. That would be with Indiana’s Andrew Nembhard, who came through with this exact player prop.
It’s certainly not for a lack of variety that we’re targeting it again, but we take the value where we see it. While we still need to continue keeping an eye on the status of Tyrese Haliburton, that is certainly a factor in this pick. Having seen him score just four points and clearly not himself, his backcourt mate is going to have to pick things up.
Haliburton fellow guard has also seen his time on the court increase each game in these NBA Finals, recently recording 36 minutes in back-to-back games. That’s helped him score 10+ points in four of the Pacers’ last six games, and now more responsibility is on his shoulders with a hobbled Haliburton.
We know that many fans will turn their attention to T.J. McConnell off the bench, and rightfully so. However, if we know that, oddsmakers do as well. Therefore, we want to provide you with a pick that will be readily available, but we certainly wouldn’t blame you for adding McConnell over 8.5 points to your Thunder vs. Pacers picks.
Whichever one you prefer, you can target Andrew Nembhard and T.J. McConnell player picks - and so many others - with Chalkboard Fantasy’s daily fantasy lineups!Â

Thunder vs. Pacers Injury Report & Starting Lineup
We’ve been blessed enough to not have injuries derail the NBA Finals to this point, but now, we have Thunder vs. Pacers injury news to monitor. Of course, that’s the status of Tyrese Haliburton due to his right calf injury.
Until we have official word, we’ve kept him in the expected Thunder vs. Pacers lineups for Game 6 below, but make no mistake, there seems to be true concern in Indiana.
