Meatloaf again and with a +160 straight bet victory. It was a smashing success with Bam Adebayo clearing his rebounding line by 0.5. The Chicago Bulls won 152 -150, and cashed the big-time plus odds prop. Myles Turner was the only let-down as he scored 1.5 points over his point line in a game that was much closer than anticipated. Proving once again that, ‘Two out of three ain’t bad’.

Fantasy Alarm NBA Best Bets has now won 9 of the last 11 NBA best bets. With the arrival of NBA week 10, the plan is to keep stacking units and reach our goal of 30 units profit on the season. There are seven games today, and fourteen on Tuesday. 12 teams will be playing in back-to-back games, and players could be rested in anticipation of those games. Straight bets will be avoided due to those facts. Three player propositions take place with great odds and better data to support them.

NBA Best Bets Today, 12/22: Picks, Predictions & Player Props - Monday

Charlotte Hornets vs Cleveland Cavaliers: Monday 12/22

Game Time: 7:00 PM ET | TV: Peacock | Location: Rocket Arena | Odds: CLE -8.5 | O/U 237.5

The Cleveland Cavaliers host the Charlotte Hornets at Rocket Arena in an Eastern Conference duel. Both teams are looking to get back to the win column, and Cleveland has to shake a three-game losing streak. They are still seventh in the East, but only 1.5 games ahead of the tenth-place Chicago Bulls.

The Cavaliers are expected to win with ease, and are -8.5 point favorites. However, who knows if they will play well, or rest players for the first of back-to-back games. So Fantasy Alarm looks at the battle of Ball Brothers, who know how to ball. LaMelo Ball is widely considered the better basketball player out of his brothers. However, Lonzo Ball was the most hyped. He’s the older brother, and he comes off the bench, playing against worse defensive units.

Lonzo Ball has played in 22 of Cleveland’s 29 games this season and has been a great backup point guard to Donovan Mitchell. He has scored over 6.5 points in two of his last three games and has the rare opportunity to play against his younger brother. The combination of Cleveland needing a win, Lonzo Ball playing well, and him playing against his brother makes over 6.5 points an easy best bet. It is a rare point proposition on a bench player.  Put a unit on him to score at home, and watch the game on Peacock television.

Memphis Grizzlies vs Oklahoma City Thunder: Monday 12/22

Game Time: 9:30 PM ET | TV: Peacock | Location: Paycom Center | Odds: OKC -16.5 | O/U 228.5

The Memphis Grizzlies are injured in their frontcourt as well as their backcourt. It is reviewed in more detail on the Fantasy Alarm NBA Injury Report & Waiver Wire Ahead of Week 10 Games: Tyler Herro, Zach Lavine, Mitchell Robinson & More. One Memphis injury mentioned was Brandon Clarke.

Clarke had just made his way back from injury, and he was needed. Zach Edey is out until some point in January at the earliest. With Clarke and Edey out, the power forward responsibilities will be handed to Aldama. Jaren Jackson and Jock Landale will also be competing for rebounds, but Aldama will play more minutes than Landale and is bigger than Jackson Jr.

Aldama is 7'’ tall and has earned double-digit rebounds in his last two games. The Oklahoma City Thunder are a tough defensive team. That should lead to more offensive rebounding opportunities for Aldama. He doesn’t need 10 rebounds for a successful best bet. Eight will be enough to cash in the plus odds proposition. Put a unit on the Memphis big man to deliver on his rebounds today.

NBA Prop Bet Today, 12/22

Derrick White has delivered on three three-point proposition best bets this season. The line hasn’t moved, and depending on the sportsbooks, the odds are not too juiced up. His alternate line has slightly better odds than his set line of 3.5 on FanDuel. Hence, it is wise to take his alternate line of 4+ Three made instead of over 3.5.

White has made four or more threes in seven of his last eight games. The Boston Celtics are quietly climbing up the Eastern Conference rankings. White’s stellar play has received little praise, but he’s a reliable scorer who is foundational to their success. He is one of the best three-point scorers in the league, and playing against one of the worst defenses in the Association.

The Indiana Pacers allow 118.5 points per game, have lost four in a row, are 5 - 10 at home, and are not worried about playing good defense. White will have several open looks in a game the Celtics are expected to win by -10.5 points. If that is going to happen, White will need to make his usual amount of threes. Put a unit on him to do just that.
