Monday's nine-game NBA slate runs from two 7 p.m. ET tips to Warriors vs. Nuggets at 10 p.m., and our NBA best bets include an undefeated underdog, a home favorite, and a full card of player props.
NBA Picks, Predictions & Best Bets Today, 10/26
Our NBA best bets for Monday are the Timberwolves +4.5 in Cleveland and the Nuggets -7.5 at home against Golden State. On the prop side, we're featuring Cameron Boozer Over 13.5 rebounds plus assists and Aaron Wiggins Over 11.5 points, with more player props listed below.
Injury news is moving several of Monday's numbers, so check the final reports and shop around before you bet. Here's our full breakdown of today's NBA best bets.
Timberwolves vs. Cavaliers Prediction: Monday, 10/26
Pick: Timberwolves +4.5
Minnesota is 3-0, and yet the Timberwolves are getting 4.5 points in Cleveland. Anthony Edwards scored 45 points in a win at Miami, the Wolves routed Orlando 115-93, and they beat Toronto on Sunday.
Cleveland is 1-1 and has been led by Donovan Mitchell at 27.0 points per game, but the Cavaliers needed everything they had to hold off a winless Brooklyn team 125-121 on Saturday.
The concern is rest, since Minnesota played Sunday and Cleveland did not. But with a total around 233 and the better team getting more than a possession, we'll take the points. Timberwolves +4.5 is our first of Monday's NBA best bets.
Warriors vs. Nuggets Prediction: Monday, 10/26
Pick: Nuggets -7.5
Golden State is 0-3 and still short-handed. Jimmy Butler (ACL), Moses Moody, and Brandin Podziemski were all out in the opener, and Kristaps Porzingis has not been with the team, leaving the Warriors thin on size and depth.
Denver is 1-1 after an ugly 96-84 loss in Oklahoma City in which Nikola Jokic shot 5-of-19, but the Nuggets are back at Ball Arena against a much weaker opponent. The market agrees: the spread opened at Denver -7.5, briefly touched -8.5, and a large majority of the money has come in on the Nuggets.
With a total around 236.5, we expect Denver's offense to bounce back against a depleted Golden State frontcourt. Nuggets -7.5 rounds out the sides among our NBA best bets.
Best NBA Prop Bets & Other Picks Today, 10/26
Cameron Boozer Over 13.5 Rebounds + Assists
Boozer has posted 16, 19, and 15 rebounds plus assists in his first three NBA games, playing at least 31 minutes every night. He grabbed 11 rebounds with five assists against Utah in his debut, and the Jazz rank 28th in rebound percentage.
The Grizzlies are on the second night of a back-to-back, but Boozer's role as a featured rookie has been steady. Memphis is a 1.5-point favorite in a game with a total around 239.
Aaron Wiggins Over 11.5 Points
Wiggins has scored 16, 19, and 16 points with Atlanta, making at least three threes in every game, including 16 points on 4-of-9 from deep against these same Rockets on Saturday. He averaged 9.4 points in 21.8 minutes in Oklahoma City last season, but his Atlanta role is much bigger.
Houston is a 5.5-point favorite in Monday's rematch, and a competitive game should keep Atlanta's top bench scorer on the floor.
More player props we like on Monday's slate:
- Jaime Jaquez. Over 22.5 Points + Rebounds: Jaquez has posted 29, 30, and 29 points plus rebounds in his three games and gets a Pacers game with a 239.5 total.
- Jalen Smith Over 10.5 Points: Smith has scored 15, 14, and 14 points as Chicago's starting center with Nic Claxton out.
