Kyle Busch-The last two years haven’t been kind to the younger Busch brother at the Tennessee track but that doesn’t take away the five wins he has posted at Bristol in his career. He has also won four straight races including the Xfinity Series and Sprint Cup Series sweeps the last two weekends, making him a hot driver right now.
Carl Edwards-One win and 3 top-10 finishes in the last four races at the .533 mile circuit have combined to make him the highest rated driver on the track with a 109.9 average rating. The $9,900 price tag make him appealing too since he’s $800 cheaper than Kyle Busch allowing for my lineup flexibility.
Matt Kenseth- The oft-forgotten driver in the elite group, he has a win, two top-5’s, and two top-10’s in the last four races in addition to being the third ranked driver on the track. The other stat in his favor is the most laps led at the track in the last three years with 508.
Joey Logano-He is arguably the top driver on the smallest tracks on the schedule with three wins, eight top-5’s, nine top-10’s and the most laps led by a wide margin in the last few years. However at Bristol he tends to either win or finish in the back of the pack making him a potential boom or bust pick.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr.-Stenhouse Jr. is typically though of as a middling option but at Bristol he has had some success with two top-5’s, and three top-10’s and the second highest positive position differential of anyone in the past couple of years at Bristol. At $6,400 he is a very budget friendly option to make room for in either lineup.
