Tonight’s MLB DFS slate is pretty consistent across the board as DraftKings, Yahoo and FanDuel will all start at 7:05 pm ET with the only difference being that that DK is using 14 games while Yahoo and FanDuel are using 13. Starting pitching is full of star power today with studs like Jacob deGrom, Sandy Alcantara, Framber Valdez, Corbin Burnes and more, all of which are over $10,000 on DK so finding value will be needed. I really like the mid-tier pricing on Brady Singer and Jack Flaherty. The top value bat for me today is Jarred Kelenic, who has been rolling since making his return to the MLB. We do have a couple MLB weather concerns on this slate, so make sure to check the weather center leading up to first pitch. Lastly, don’t forget to check out MLB implied runs totals using our Vegas Odds link and to use our MLB DFS lineup generator. Let’s dive into our MLB DFS picks today!

MLB DFS Value Pitchers

Brady Singer, Kansas City Royals

(DraftKings - $8200 / Yahoo - $41)

Singer is simply too cheap at these prices. He is being priced like a mid-tier pitcher, but he’s pitching like an elite pitcher. He has a 2.29 ERA over his last 10 games and on the year he has a 2.99 ERA with a 10-4 record and 144 strikeouts across 147.2 innings. He has scored 28.8, 23.9, and 29 dk points over his last three starts. The Guardians are a mid-tier matchup as they rank 17th in runs per game this season.

Jack Flaherty, St. Louis Cardinals

(DraftKings - $7400 / FanDuel - $7900 / Yahoo - $36)

Falherty finally looked like the Flaherty I remember from a few years ago in his last start, firing six innings of three-run ball, but striking out 9. He also had no leash as they let him throw 99 pitches in that outing, so that’s also a good sign for tonight. Now he gets to face the lowly Pirates, so he should be able to keep the momentum going. Pittsburgh is 27th in runs per game this season and have the 2nd highest strikeout rate in the league, so you can’t get much better than this for a matchup.

MLB DFS Value Hitters

Jarred Kelenic, Seattle Mariners

(DraftKings - $2100 / FanDuel - $2200 / Yahoo - $11)

Kelenic has looked really good since making his return to MLB action; he is slashing .296/.367/.741 over seven games since returning with three home runs, three doubles, five RBI, and eight runs scored. Today he faces Waldichuk, who has a 7.15 ERA and 1.46 WHIP across five starts this season. It’s been even worse when he has pitched on the road as he has am 8.03 ERA, 2.03 WHIP, and .327 BAAA across three road starts. As you can, this should be a nice matchup for Kelenic tonight to keep the momentum going.

Vinnie Pasquantino, Kansas City Royals

(FanDuel - $2500)

Vinnie P. is scorching hot right now, slashing .405/.511/.568 over his last 10 games with a home run, eight walks, three doubles, and 10 R+RBI. He has scored at least 10 DK points in four of his past six outings. He has hit for a higher average against lefties, but his power has fully been against righties as ALL nine of his dingers have been against them. He should be able to keep the hot streak going in a very good matchup against Civale.

Drew Waters, Kansas City Royals

(DraftKings - $2200 / Fanduel - $2000 / Yahoo - $10)

Waters is another Royals bat that I like today. He is slashing .296/.367/.556 over his last 10 games with a home run, three other extra base hits, and five RBI. Civale has a 5.19 ERA on the year with a 1.25 WHIP and just generally hasn’t been very good. Waters is slashing .255/.377/.471 against righties with both of his home runs, compared to .182/.217/.273 against lefties.  The Royals make for, not only a sneaky stack tonight, but also a cheap stack.
