We have a pretty consistent MLB DFS slate across the board tonight for Memorial Day, May 30th. Both DraftKings and FanDuel will be using a 6-game daily fantasy baseball slate starting at 7:10 pm ET. Yahoo, however, is not including the Brewers/Cubs game, so they are rolling with a 5-game slate starting at the same time. Despite the smaller MLB DFS slate, we still have some solid value options today on offense and some strong mid-tier pitcher values. There are no MLB weather report concerns as of right now, but make sure to keep up with the weather center today. MLB DFS Value Pitchers

 

 

David Peterson, Mets (DraftKings - $8200 / Yahoo - $33) 

Peterson has pitched very well this season, scoring at least 12 DK points in all five of his starts and at least 14.4 points in his last four starts. He has a 2.16 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and 22 strikeouts across 25 innings of work. He has had an uptick in Ks over his last two starts with six punch-outs in each (12 total) over 11 total innings. Washington is 19th in runs per game this season and they are 20th in wOBA against lefties.  

 

 

Aaron Ashby, Brewers (DraftKings - $7300 / FanDuel - $7200) 

Ashby has worked both as a starter and reliever this season, but he's probably going to be in the rotation for the long haul now that Freddy Peralta is hurt. Ashby has pitched very well with a 2.91 ERA and 39 strikeouts across 34 innings of work. The Cubs' offense has performed pretty well, given their expectations, but they are still just 12th in runs per game (close to league average) and have the 9th highest strikeout rate. They are also just 14th in wOBA against southpaws. 

 

MLB DFS Value Hitters

 

 

Luis Guillorme, Mets (DraftKings - $3300 / FanDuel - $2000 / Yahoo - $11)

Guillermo led off for the Mets last night and had another pair of hits with a run scored, his second straight game with multiple hits. He started the year 0-12, but since then he is slashing .422/.493/.547 across 24 games (74 plate appearances). Pretty good, I would say. If Nimmo is forced to miss another game (as expected), look for Guillermo to once again be at the top of the Mets' order and in a great matchup against Fedde. 

 

 

Christopher Morel, Cubs (DraftKings - $3300 / FanDuel - $2600)

Morel has been super impressive thus far, scoring at least nine DK points in five straight games and scoring at least five points in all 11 of his games this year. He is hitting .293 with two home runs, four steals, and eight runs scored. His current DK average of 10.4 points per game is the SECOND highest of all players on the slate (trailing only Mookie Betts). He has also been stronger at home so far, slashing .333/.412/.733 in five games in Chicago, compared to .269/.387/.346 in six road games. 

 

 

Victor Robles, Nationals (DraftKings - $2200 / FanDuel - $2100 / Yahoo - $11)

Robles had another pair of hits last night and added in two more steals, giving him 4 steals over the past three games. He is swinging a hot bat right now, slashing .353/.421/.441 over the last 12 games with a home run, five steals, nine RBI, and seven runs scored. He has been far better against lefties this year too, slashing .353/.405/.441 against them, compared to just .215/.284/.291 against righties. 

 

 

Michael Harris II, Braves (DraftKings - $2100 / FanDuel - $2000 / Yahoo - $7) 

The matchup is far from ideal as Gallen has looked great this year, but with the tools that Harris has, I still like him at these prices. He was hitting .305 with five home runs and 11 stolen bases at AAA prior to being called up, so we get a nice blend of power and speed with Harris. He did nearly all that damage against righties, slashing .341/.399/.591 against them with ALL five dingers, compared to a lousy .190/.292/.238 against lefties with zero home runs.
