We have a big night of Major League Baseball action on this Tuesday night and that means plenty of Underdog Fantasy MLB player props. There are a ton of options tonight for both pitchers and hitters, so let’s take a closer look at the best Underdog MLB daily picks. First, we have two pitchers with low strikeout props – Luis García and Josiah Gray – and both could be MLB DFS top plays as well. We also have some big bats on the slate tonight, led by Giancarlo Stanton against a young Reds pitcher and C.J. Cron at home in Coors Field. The New York Yankees and Colorado Rockies may be popular MLB DFS stacks for daily fantasy baseball lineups too. Check out our MLB Weather center for the latest MLB weather report updates before you lock in those prop picks and MLB daily fantasy lineups. Use the MLB Lineups page for confirmed starting lineups and the MLB daily projections to pick out more winners. We also have an MLB DFS Lineup Generator to help out all of your fantasy baseball lineups and MLB props. Now here are my favorite MLB player props on Underdog Fantasy for Tuesday, July 12 baseball action.

MLB Player Props Underdog Fantasy July 12

Giancarlo StantonOVER 1.5 Total Bases

I am going to keep riding the Giancarlo Stanton train until the wheels fall off. He is home at Yankee Stadium against a mediocre pitcher and has been on a home-run tear lately. Stanton has gone yard eight times over his last 15 games and has elite advanced metrics against right-handed pitching with a .292 ISO, .354 wOBA, and 45.4% hard contact. The Reds' Graham Ashcraft struggles against right-handed bats and is allowing a .376 wOBA and 47.6% hard contact to the right side. His main pitch to right-handed hitters is the cutter and Stanton has a .429 wOBA and 46.8% hard contact against the pitch over the last three seasons. Bombs away tonight.

C.J. Cron – OVER 1.5 Total Bases

Cron likes Coors Field, plain and simple. On the road this season, he is slashing only .229/.296/.399 with a .695 OPS. At home in Coors, though, he is a totally different hitter with a .347/.389/.670 slash and 1.059 OPS. Those are elite numbers and tonight he faces Padres righty Mike Clevinger. Cron has a team-best .265 ISO and .390 wOBA on the reverse split and smashes the fastball-cutter (Clevinger’s main pitch) with a .296 ISO and 50% hard contact. There will be fireworks again in Coors tonight and Cron should be in the middle of it all.

Luis GarcíaOVER 6.0 Strikeouts

We will keep on picking on the Angels tonight. They have the highest strikeout rate in all of baseball against right-handed pitchers at 26.8% and are even worse over the last two weeks with a 31.7% rate. Garcia has faced the Angels once already this season and ended the game with seven strikeouts. Plus, he has gone over this prop in four of his last five starts. He now has 34 total strikeouts over his last five starts combined and has held batters to a sub-.300 wOBA on the season. With control that you can trust and high strikeout ability, Garcia’s K prop is one of my favorites on the slate.

Josiah GrayOVER 5.5 Strikeouts

Josiah Gray continues to be a strikeout pitcher. He has a 10.2 K/9 over 16 starts with a 26.8% strikeout rate and a 12.9% swinging-strike rate on the season. He has struck out at least six batters in five of his last six starts with a 7.5 Ks per game average in that span. The Mariners are on a hot streak and have been middle-of-the-road in strikeouts over the entire season, but have the seventh-highest rate (23.3%) over the last two weeks.
