Tuesday is here, we have a full 15-game MLB slate and that means another tremendous opportunity to build those Underdog bankrolls with some MLB DFS Pick ‘Em picks for today.
Nothing but night games and some absolutely spectacular match-ups to dive into. We’ll see plenty of runs scored today with games being played at both Coors Field, Great American Smallpark and George Steinbrenner Field, but we also have some string pitching to look at. With aces like Zack Wheeler, Garrett Crochet and Shota Imanaga on the mound, we’ll be eyeballing some pitching stat lines as well. Let’s dive in.

Seiya Suzuki MLB Underdog Fantasy Pick: Higher Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI
Yeah, I get it – Andrew Heaney hasn’t allowed an earned run in 13.1 innings (his last two starts). Are we really buying that this 33-year-old is going to buck the trend and not post an ERA above 4.00 this year? What goes up must come down and Heaney is facing a Cubs team that has a league-leading .378 wOBA, doesn’t strike out (17.7%) and owns a .211 ISO against southpaws which tells me we’re going to see some fireworks from the North Siders. Suzuki is their top lefty-killer with a .601 wOBA and .450 ISO, so we’ll lock into him tonight.
Garrett Crochet MLB Underdog Fantasy Pick: Higher Than 1.5 Walks
Overall, the numbers for Crochet are where you want them. He’s got a 1.95 ERA and he’s striking out more than a batter per inning. But he’s still honing his command and had a lot of difficulty his last time out against the Mariners. Yes, he struck out nine in that start but he also walked five and now has a 10.1-percent walk rate and a 3.65 B/9. Not awful, but he now faces a Blue Jays team that is dangerous with a .359 wOBA against lefties and that comes with a 12-percent walk rate, fourth best against lefties this season. He issued four free passes when he faced them on April 8 and has walked two or more in four of his six starts this season. Let’s make it five out of seven, shall we?
- Pick: Higher Than 1.5 Walks
Drew Waters MLB Underdog Fantasy Pick: Higher Than 0.5 Total Bases
Despite not being a first-rounder back in 2017, Waters was still a highly-touted prospect. He struggled throughout the minor leagues and was a strikeout machine for quite some time. But here he is now, still just 26-years-old and he’s finally started to figure things out. He’s still striking out too much, but he’s also learned to hone his plate discipline and has improved his approach at the plate in recent years. This season’s call-up has still yielded a 32.1-percent strikeout rate, but he’s also doing a great job of putting the ball in-play (.406 BABIP). We’ll take advantage of that today with needing just one hit to cash a pick. He’s hit safely in five of seven games with four multi-hit performances and he’s seeing the ball well, especially from the left side of the plate which is where he’s hitting tonight against Taj Bradley.
