His OPS against righties is .889 compared to .684 against lefties and has a 145 wRC+ and 95 wRC+ against lefties. This is a great split for him.

Teel, since the All-Star break, is hitting .333 with an .872 IOS, .380 wOBA, and all four of his home runs. Teel’s expected numbers look GREAT compared to some of his actual numbers. He has a .122 ISO but a .199 xISO against righties along with a .360 wOBA but a .377 xwOBA. Luis Gil is on the mound against the White Sox today and Gil has struggled with lefties and has struggled to throw strikes, which should give Teel maximum opportunity to reach base. Lefties have a .133 ISO, .213 xISO, .366 wOBA, and .419 xwOBA. He’s been unable to put lefties away notching just a 10.8% K-rate against them.
