Fantasy Baseball 2025 Two-Start Pitchers & Streaming Starters - Week 15

As the 2025 season moves along toward the All-Star Game break, there are plenty of good to great options among the Fantasy Baseball 2025Two-Start Pitchers to choose among for your fantasy baseball rotations as July opens. Not exactly a dearth of Fantasy Baseball 2025 Streaming Starters to consider picking up for a spot start or perhaps to stash on your roster for future benefits in the realm of starting pitching value.Â
Please realize that these articles feature most recent rotation information available when the article is written, but that circumstances do change due to weather conditions, injuries and general craziness with managers. If a pitcher listed here as having two starts ends up with one (or perhaps none) in the upcoming week, apologies but this article is meant to provide analysis, it is up to the manager to set the lineups or rotations.
Without further ado, here are this week’s two start pitchers:

Pallante had the misfortune of facing off against the Pirate ace Paul Skenes, while twirling another quality start (his seventh this season) but not having any offense support his efforts on the bump. He yielded just a single hit and two walks. Only three strikeouts over those 7.0 IP, but he has been a below-average K producer all season, so not a huge surprise. He has two home starts coming up this scoring period, and his team enjoys playing in St. Louis, so perhaps his sour luck picking up wins while pitching well will change in Week 15.
Eovaldi is working up to a full workload, after missing a month with a triceps injury. He left his most recent time atop the bump with a substantial lead, and presumably, the idea is not to overtax him as he returns to the rotation. He has been an exceptional road warrior in 2025, so two road contests are not a major cause for worry. He still offers exceptional ratios over his 14 starts, sitting at 1.75 ERA and 0.85 WHIP. While some negative regression should be expected, he is delivering superior pitching results for those lucky enough to have him on their rosters. If he is available, due to his recent IL stint, go and grab him…NOW.
Perez is coming off Tommy John surgery, and looked good in his most recent outing against the visiting Twins, holding the Minnesota offense to just a single hit and one free pass over his 6.0 IP. His control needs some attention (4.5 BB/9 over his limited 22.0 IP) but he has been missing bats at a good clip with 21 Ks over his five starts. Two road starts, but not the worst matchups, are on his schedule, making him a good option for a dual start week.
Woods Richardson has compiled a stellar 1.71 ERA over his last four appearances on the hill, together with a superior 0.76 WHIP. The 16 Ks and seven free passes are just average results, but he does have a pair of home starts on tap, playing to his strength in his home/road splits. That should help to offset the initial poor matchup in terms of the first opposing hurler he will be facing in Week 15, as the rotations currently stand-the Cubs’ Shota Imanaga is set to open the scoring period, but he dodges facing Paul Skenes of the Pirates, instead facing off against Andrew Heaney in his second trip to the hill.
Burke has had a couple of successful home starts together with a bulk relief appearance in Los Angeles of recent vintage, and gets to pitch from the home hill in both his Week 15 trips to the bump. He has collected 19 Ks over his last 16.1 IP, easily outpacing his season-long 7.8 K/9 rate. His mound opponents are not ideal, as both are featured in the upper tier this week-Jose Berrios (Toronto Blue Jays) and Tanner Bibee (Cleveland Guardians).Â
The veteran righthander Holmes has been struggling with his control of late, handing out 14 free passes over his most recent 15.0 IP, as opposed to 8 Ks. He has been more effective when pitching away from Citi Field, so two road starts hold promise, especially against a couple of sub-.500 teams in the form of Baltimore and Kansas City. On a positive note, he does generate an extraordinary number of grounders from opposing batters (53.4% GB rate).
Springs has had a nice stretch of action, allowing two or one earned runs in each of his last four outings, posting a superb 2.28 ERA and 1.01 WHIP over those 23.2 IP. The strikeouts are not anything to get excited about, with just 15 to his recent credit for a sub-par 5.7 K/9 rate. A couple items of bad news if you want to jump on his wagon: his peripheral metrics indicate that he may be pitching a tad lucky (4.76 FIP vs 4.07 ERA, .244 BABIP), and he has two home contests on the schedule, and he has been more effective away from the temporary home of Sacramento this year.

There are any number of SPs you should avoid, despite their allure of trotting out to the hill twice in this scoring period. Some may tempt you, such as Martinez, Flaherty or Eovaldi, but recent production has not been top-notch and thus they are denizens of the bottom tier. If you are tempted to pick up one or more of these hurlers, perhaps the better solution to your fantasy baseball pitching needs could be found in among the Fantasy Baseball 2025 Streaming Starters profiled just below? Certainly most of those single start options will deliver less ratio stat damage on average, and potentially more counting stat help.
Â
Potential Streaming Options for Week 15
There is no promise that each game day will provide a streaming option. First of all, the pitcher must be available in at least 50% of leagues to be a viable candidate to snag off the wire. Then, the pitchers discussed above are not included as they have a different sort of value, even though some might be available as free agents in your league. Plus, some days the matchups and/or venues just do not figure as positive enough factors to favor plugging the arm into your rotation, even for one start. That all being said, here are this week’s best Fantasy Baseball 2025 Streaming Starters candidates:
Brandon Walter, Houston Astros vs Cleveland GuardiansÂ
With three QS in his first five starts for Houston, the 28-year-old southpaw has likely secured his place in the Astro rotation for the time being. He has been striking out just better than a K per frame, while displaying superior control by allowing just two walks over his 29.2 IP. His peripheral metrics indicate some regression in his future, but then again, nothing drastic on the horizon.
Â
Justin Verlander, San Francisco Giants vs Philadelphia Phillies
The veteran hurler picked up his third QS of the season against the host Pale Hose, ending a stretch where he was not able to last any deeper than 5.0 IP. His peripheral metrics suggest this is what you can expect from Verlander these days, although it would be pleasant for him to pick up his first victory of the season soon (0-5 record on the season).
Â
Kumar Rocker, Texas Rangers @ Los Angeles Angels
Kyle Hendricks, Los Angeles Angels vs Texas Rangers
A recurring staple in this report is the contest where both SPs are worthy of a streaming start. The Ranger rookie Rocker picked up his second QS of the season against the visiting Mariners, holding Seattle to two runs on four hits, while striking out six batters. He has held opponents to just four earned runs over his last three starts (16.1 IP), which belies his inflated ratio stats. The good thing about the 6.13 ERA and 1.54 WHIP are that he is available in most leagues to be added to your rotations.
The Angel starter, Hendricks, has had a nice run of four starts where he has posted a 2.45 ERA and 1.23 WHIP over those 22.0 IP. He has also accumulated a 19:3 K/BB ratio in those contests. He gets to toe the rubber at home for this matchup, which plays to his strength on the mound this season. His peripherals indicated that he could easily continue dealing in a similar fashion from the hill, making him a functional streaming SP option.
Â
Eric Lauer, Toronto Blue Jays @ Chicago White Sox
The veteran southpaw has some attractive ratio numbers with a 2.60 ERA and 1.07 WHIP, accumulated over his 45.0 IP in both starting and relief roles for the Jays this season. He has been able to fan a batter per frame this season, although his control is just average at best (2.8 BB/9). His home/road splits do not cause concern over this road start, although the opponent certainly plays better ball at their home park than when on the road.
Â
Slade Cecconi, Cleveland Guardians @ Houston Astros
After a delayed start to his 2025 season due to an oblique issue, the 26-year-old righthander has been a consistent starter, despite not lasting a full five frames in his last trip to the hill against the visiting Cardinals. That ended his modest two game win streak, and was the first time in four starts that he failed to pitch deep enough into the game to qualify for a victory. His home/road splits to date are a positive for this road appearance. The 9.0 K/9 rate is also favorable for a spot start, despite the tough matchup.
Â
Charlie Morton, Atlanta Braves vs New York Mets
Keep an eye on his next scheduled start before this one, as he was sidelined due to tendonitis in his throwing arm elbow. Prior to his last outing, he had been racking up Ks at a prodigious rate (11.9 K/9 over 30.1 IP). He had also gone 4-0 with two no-decisions over those six trips to scrape the slab.Â
Â
Stephen Kolek, San Diego Padres vs Arizona Diamondbacks
The second-year righty held the Reds to a single run over 5.2 IP in the Great American Ballpark, and racked up five Ks while allowing just one walk and three hits to Cincy hitters. He has not been favored with a credit in the win column since the end of May, but he has pitched effectively, accruing a 3.38 ERA and 1.19 WHIP over his last 32.0 IP. The concern here is that his struggles on the hill have been extremely pronounced at home, but he has only started three games in San Diego, which has been a relatively small sample size, too.
Â
Logan Allen, Cleveland Guardians @ Chicago White Sox
Allen tossed his second QS in his last four starts, although it started poorly with a three-run homer to open the first frame of action before he settled in. He offers below-average K production although he has ramped up those numbers over his last four outings: 6.9 K/9 for the season, 7.8 K/9 over his last 23.0 IP.Â
Â
Dean Kremer, Baltimore Orioles vs Miami Marlins
The 29-year-old righty has been dealing over his last three outings, rolling into Week 15 with a 1.02 ERA and 0.91 WHIP over his last 17.2 IP, going 2-0 in those contests. He has also contributed a fine 17:4 K/BB ratio over those three starts. A home start plays to his strengths, as he has preferred pitching in Baltimore much more that taking his turn on a foreign mound.
Â
Mike Soroka, Washington Nationals @ Milwaukee Brewers
The Nationals’ righthander picked up his fourth QS of the 2025 season, two-hitting the host Angels while striking out five over his 6.0 IP effort. His K production has stepped up significantly in his recent times on the hill, having accumulated 36 over those 28.1 IP. He will look to continue his trend of reducing his inflated ERA when he heads to Milwaukee, although truth be told, he has been more effective when dealing from his home park mound.
Â
Mike Burrows, Pittsburgh Pirates @ Minnesota Twins
The rookie righty continues to work at reducing his ERA, which now sits at a palatable 4.15 after his one run/four hit/one walk effort at home against the visiting Mets. His control has been improving over his recent times on the bump, as well, as he has allowed just three free passes over his last four appearances. His home/road splits do not necessarily caution against using him at Target Field in this game.
Â
Tyler Anderson, Los Angeles Angels vs Arizona Diamondbacks
The soft-tossing southpaw was able to baffle the Atlanta hitters in his last outing, fanning seven over the course of his 6.0 IP. He now sports a 4.12 ERA although his WHIP is still a tad inflated at 1.34. He gets to take on the Diamondbacks at home here, which is a positive given his success pitching in Anaheim this season.Â
Â
Mitchell Parker, Washington Nationals @ Milwaukee Brewers
The young lefty has been effective in his last three outings, assembling a useful 3.71 ERA while also tossing two QS. His control is suspect, as evidenced by his 3.5 BB/9 rate over his total 91.1 IP this season. His results while pitching away from Nationals Park are not stellar, so this is not a top-rated streaming suggestion, just one that may prove fruitful if he can continue to deliver quality results, aka QS.
Â
Trevor Rogers, Baltimore Orioles vs Miami Marlins
Rogers as of this writing only has four starts under his belt, but two of those are QS efforts. He has a superb set of ratios: 2.05 ERA and 0.86 WHIP, with a useful 18:6 K/BB ratio. Admittedly small sample size, but he has been excellent when toeing the rubber at Camden Yards, so a home start even against the surging Marlins is a positive streaming option for the 27-year-old southpaw, not to mention an opportunity to take it to his previous team.
