Reynaldo Lopez Sleeper Fantasy MLB Pick: More Than 6.5 Strikeouts (1.6x)

Despite missing nearly a month of action on the injured list, Reynaldo Lopez hasn’t skipped a bat since returning. He’s pitched masterfully and has 23 strikeouts and five walks in the first 17 innings back. Two of those games came against the Phillies too. 

He faces a Rockies offense that is totally lost right now. Their 26% K-rate against righties is second in baseball while Lopez himself sits at a near 26% K-rate. He’s cleared this number in two of three since returning and I fear for the Rockies what Lopez is going to do to them.

 

 

 

Mike Yastrzemski Sleeper Fantasy MLB Pick: More Than 1.5 Hits+Runs+RBI (1.7x)

The Giants face off against Merrill Kelly who’s been quite bad, and the Diamondbacks bullpen hasn’t been much better either. Over the last 30 days, Kelly has been dreadful and has been unable to get lefties out. He has allowed lefties to post a .347 ISO, .459 xISO, .416 wOBA and .521 xwOBA. 

Yastzemski has a .214 ISO and .322 wOBA against righties this year and has moved into the leadoff spot for the Giants recently. I love this play which is why I’m adding him into my lineup and he’s one of my top MLB DFS Sleeper Fantasy picks.
