Published: Apr 29, 2026
Happy Wednesday, April 29th! We have an early slate with a 6-game slate starting at 1:10 PM EST on DraftKings and FanDuel also has two different early slates with a very early 2-game slate and an early 4-game slate, or you can just play the all day slate.
Even with a smaller slate we have some fantastic pitchers taking the mound today so the harder part will be picking which offenses to target today.

💎 PITCHING COACH
Top Tier
Tyler Glasnow (LAD) | vs MIA
When healthy Glasnow is one of the best pitchers in baseball and he is healthy. He has gone at least 6 innings in every outing so far this season and has gone 7 and 8 innings in each of his last two starts with 9 strikeouts in two of his last four starts and 7 in the other two. We should get more of the same against Miami.
Gavin Williams (CLE) | vs TB
It was a tough go in his last outing giving up 6 earned runs with two homers against the Blue Jays. The start before though he struck out 11 against the Orioles giving up only 1 run off a solo shot through 7 innings. I think he bounces back and we get another solid performance out of him today against the Rays.
Value Plays
Drew Rasmussen (TB) | vs CLE
The biggest thing I love about Rasmussen recently is he has gone 6 full innings in two of his last three starts. The other one wasn’t a great outing against the Pirates, but the other two starts were typical Rasmussen excellence. If he is going 6 innings he has plenty of upside, and he should not be going this cheap.
Nathan Eovaldi (TEX) | vs NYY
Only 3 strikeouts in each of his last two outings isn’t great, and the last start really wasn’t great getting beat up by the Athletics giving up 4 homers. He has given up 5 or 6 runs in half of his starts to begin the season, but I think he can easily bounce back and return to his usual form. The good thing is the price is way down because of his recent struggles so if you believe in Eovaldi like I do it is worth taking a shot on him today.
💎 HITTING COACH
Elite Bats
Munetaka Murakami (1B, CWS) | vs LAA
The power of Murakami is real. The strikeouts are also an issue so you always risk a dud game from him, but I like the matchup against Kikuchi who can struggle giving up homers and so I like betting on some more Murakami power today.
Max Muncy (3B, LAD) | vs MIA
Max Muncy feels way too cheap in this matchup. He continues to provide good power in the Dodgers’ lineup, and I really like taking a shot on Muncy today even if you aren’t paying for the other higher priced Dodger bats.
Corey Seager (SS, TEX) | vs NYY
I like the Rangers facing up against Elmer Rodriguez in his debut and Seager is one of the best bats in that lineup to target. He has been hitting the ball well lately despite not much power, but I think the power will come.
Mike Trout (OF, LAA) | vs CWS
I am a fan of both offenses in this matchup today and Trout headlines it for the Angels with a great start to the season he is having. Fedde is certainly not an arm I am running away from and like going after Trout even with his top price today.
Value Bats (Salary Savers)
- Josh Naylor (1B, SEA): Josh Naylor is finally starting to get things going so now isn’t a bad time to get in at a cheaper price.
- Chase Meidroth (2B, CWS): Meidroth is a great cheaper bat to stack around Murakami in the White Sox lineup.
- Evan Carter (OF, TEX): Evan Carter is another solid lefty bat in the Rangers lineup to take in this matchup.
- Jorge Soler (OF, LAA): Some power from the Angels lineup that is much cheaper than Trout.
🏗️ THE STACKING BLUEPRINT
Primary Stack: Los Angeles Dodgers
Targets: Ohtani, Tucker, Freeman, Smith, Muncy, Pages
Opponent: Miami Marlins | LAD 4.1 implied
The Dodgers continue to be a top stack today even against Alcantara. Alcantara has been hit around quite a bit in his last few starts and I think that might continue today so I am happy to pay up for some Dodger bats.
Primary Stack: Texas Rangers
Targets: Nimmo, Pederson, Seager, Carter, Burger
Opponent: New York Yankees | TEX 5.6 implied
Elmer Rodriguez is making his debut for the New York Yankees, and while you never really know what is going to happen in a debut, I am okay with stacking against him in his debut. I think the Rangers could give him trouble in his first start.
Contrarian Stack: Chicago White Sox
Targets: Meidroth, Vargas, Murakami, Hays, Montgomery
Opponent: Los Angeles Angels | CWS 4.6 implied
The Chicago White Sox is turning into a decent offense behind the power surge of Murakami. While I really like going with Murakami in this matchup, I am okay stacking some other cheaper White Sox bats around him.
📈 THE LEVERAGE REPORT (GAME THEORY)
The Chalk (Popular) | The Pivot (Low Owned) | The Winning Logic |
|---|---|---|
| Glasnow (highly owned) | Williams (lower-owned) | Glasnow will be the go to for top strikeouts, but Williams is a great strikeout guy as well as a pivot off of Glasnow. |
| Kirby (highly owned) | Rasmussen (low-owned) | I think Rasmussen can give you exactly what Kirby does but with a lower ownership and less money. |
| LAD Chalk Stack | CWS Stack (lower-owned) | I think Kikuchi could struggle against the White Sox and I like the potentially runs with their price. |
