This season's MLB DFS picks and playbook will consist of a pitcher and hitter core players section with written analysis, player pool grid and core stacks section.

The core player section should be used as a starting point for all lineups, you may not be able to use all players in the same lineup, but those players should be the building blocks for you on a given night.

The player pool grid will feature both players from the core player section along with additional plays to help you build a complete lineup. The grid will be broken into top priced players, mid-priced players and value tier players.

The stacks section will bring you are favorite lineups stacks for the day and which players we would look to include in those stacks based on matchups and pricing.

Recommended MLB DFS Starting Pitchers

We have an interesting slate in terms of pitching options.  There are a lot of talented pitchers with upside on today’s slate.  Feel free to get creative especially on DraftKings where you need to start 2 pitchers.

High-end options include Hunter Greene, Bryan Woo and Hunter Brown.  The mid-range includes Dylan Cease and Jacob Misiorowski.  Paydown options include Clayton Kershaw and Luis Severino.

Core MLB DFS Pitchers

Hunter Greene, Cincinnati Reds - DraftKings $9,100 | FanDuel $10,700

Greene has posted a quality start in 4 of his 5 starts since returning from the IL.  He enters Saturday with 2,59 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 113 Ks in 90.1 IP.

Greene enters this matchup against the Sacramento Athletics with good but limited history against their hitters in the past.  He did not pitch against the Athletics during the 2024 season.  Look for Hunter Greene to continue his recent success against the Athletics on Saturday.

Jacob Misiorowski, Milwaukee Brewers - DraftKings $8,700 | FanDuel $8,900

Misiorowski returned to form in his most recent start.  He enters Saturday with 4.09 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 77 Ks in 55 IP.  

Misiorowski enters this matchup against the St. Louis Cardinals with good but limited history against their hitters in the past.  He has one start against the Cardinals during the 2025 season.  He put up 36 FanDuel points and 22.9 DraftKings points.  Look for Jacob Misiorowski to continue his success against the Cardinals today.

Clayton Kershaw, Los Angeles Dodgers - DraftKings $7,200 | FanDuel $8,500

Kershaw has put together a solid age 37 season.  He enters Saturday with 3.27 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 69 Ks in 99 IP.

Kershaw enters this matchup against the San Francisco Giants with good history against their hitters in the past.  He has one start against the Giants during the 2025 season.  He put up 41 FanDuel points and 27.4 DraftKings points.  He had one start against the Giants during the 2025 season.  He put up 24 FanDuel points and 12.2 DraftKings points.   Look for Clayton Kershaw to continue his success against the Giants on Saturday.

 

 

Recommended MLB DFS Hitters

It is looking like a slate that will favor pitching today.  However, we have a couple matchups we will be targeting.  Feel free to mix and match your hitters across multiple lineups.

San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners should be the front runners in terms of top teams to stack.

Core MLB DFS Hitters

Jackson Chourio, Milwaukee Brewers - DraftKings $4,900 | FanDuel $3,500 

Chourio has been excellent since returning from the IL.  He is currently on a 5 game hitting streak.  He has 2 multi hit games and 2 HRs during this stretch. 

Chourio has good history in the past against expected St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Sonny Gray.  He is 4 for 11 with 1 HR against Gray in his career.  Jackson Chourio looks like a solid one-of play or key piece of a Milwaukee Brewers stack for today’s slate.

Mookie Betts, Los Angeles Dodgers - DraftKings $5,000 | FanDuel $3,700 

Betts has returned to form as of late.  He has at least one hit in 7 of his last 8 games.  He has 4 multi hit games and 4 HRs during that time span.

Betts has good history against Logan Webb, the expected starting pitcher for the San Francisco Giants.  He is 10 for 33 with 2 HRs against Webb in his career.  Look for another strong performance out of Mookie Betts on Saturday.

Carlos Correa, Houston Astros - DraftKings $3,700 | FanDuel $2,900 

Correa has solid since returning to the Astros.  He is currently on a 4 game hitting streak.  He has 1 multi hit game and 2 HRs during this time span. 

Correa has good history in the past against Atlanta Braves expected starting pitcher Bryce Elder.  He is 3 for 5 against Elder in his career.  Carlos Correa looks like a solid one-of play or key piece of a Houston Astros stack for today’s slate.

Randy Arozarena, Seattle Mariners - DraftKings $5,000 | FanDuel $3,500 

Arozarena has been on fire lately.  He has at least one hit in 6 of his last 7 games    He has 4 multi hit games and 1 HR during this stretch.

Arozarena has no history against Los Angeles Angels expected starting pitcher Mitch Farris.  Farris is making his 3rd career start.  Look for another strong performance out of Randy Arozarena and the Seattle Mariners lineup on Saturday.
