Plenty of great baseball today, and our expert analysis is here to guide you through the top pitchers, value plays, and stackable offenses to target.
Whether chasing big GPP prizes or grinding cash games, we’ve got you covered with insights tailored to today’s matchups. Let’s jump right into the key plays and strategies to dominate the slate!
Â
This season's MLB DFS picks and playbook will consist of a pitcher and hitter core players section with written analysis, player pool grid and core stacks section.
The core player section should be used as a starting point for all lineups, you may not be able to use all players in the same lineup, but those players should be the building blocks for you on a given night.
The player pool grid will feature both players from the core player section along with additional plays to help you build a complete lineup. The grid will be broken into top priced players, mid-priced players and value tier players.
The stacks section will bring you are favorite lineups stacks for the day and which players we would look to include in those stacks based on matchups and pricing.
Tune into the MLB DFS Livestream at 5 PM ET to watch us break down today’s slate, give you last-minute advice, and answer any questions before locking in those lineups!

Recommended MLB DFS Starting Pitchers
Let's get into today's core pitching plays for our DFS lineups
Core MLB DFS Pitchers
Tarik Skubal, Detroit Tigers
Don’t overthink this one. Tarik Skubal is the best pitcher in all of baseball, and this price is high, but not enough to keep me from spending it on Skubal. There are a lot of great pitchers on this slate that you could also consider, but I think Skubal is a slate winner even at the top of the board.Â
Cristopher Sanchez, Philadelphia Phillies
Cristopher Sanchez is having a career year. Through 157 innings, he has a 2.46 ERA with a 1.10 WHIP, and the strikeouts have taken a huge jump. He already has a career high of 169 strikeouts, which is 16 more than last season in 6 fewer starts. He struck out 12 in his last outing (the third time he has struck out 12 this season), and I expect the strikeouts to keep coming today against the Mets.Â
Cam Schlittler, New York Yankees
Cam Schlittler was untouchable for most of his last start against the Rays. He took a perfect game into the 7th inning before losing it, but still ended with 6.2 shutout innings with 8 strikeouts. Getting to face Washington today I think we could see even more dominance and at his price I think he is a great option if you need someone cheaper to pair with one of those higher priced studs.Â

Recommended MLB DFS Hitters
Let's check out today's core plays to build our lineups around.
Core MLB DFS Hitters
Vinnie Pasquatino, 1B Kansas City Royals
The Pasquatch just homered in 5 straight games, and over his last 14 games, he has homered 9 times. Over that stretch, nobody else has homered more than 5 times. Now he gets to face the Chicago White Sox and Shane Smith, and I think there is a good chance we see the power production continue.Â
Brice Turang, 2B Milwaukee Brewers
What a month Brice Turang is having. He is slashing .359/.412/.744 over August with 8 homers! That is right, in August, Brice Turang has already hit more homers than he hit in each of his first two full MLB seasons. He is hitting against lefties just as well as righties, so going against Eduardo Rodriguez doesn’t worry me at all, and I am going to stick with the red-hot Turang. Â
Francisco Lindor, SS New York Mets
I know I have Cristopher Sanchez as one of my top pitchers, but if you aren’t rolling with Sanchez and maybe doing a Skubal/Schlittler pitching duo, then you probably want to consider Lindor at SS. He is on a 12-game hitting streak, over which he is slashing .471/.534/.804 with 4 homers, 5 doubles, and 5 stolen bases.Â
Jo Adell, OF Los Angeles Angels
Facing Jacob deGrom is never an easy task, but Jo Adell is crushing the ball right now. Over his last 7 games, he has 11 hits and 4 homers. He has really shown the power this season and is just a homer shy of his first 30-homer season. I think he might get it today with how well he has been hitting, even in a tough matchup.Â
