Our expert analysis is here to guide you through the top pitchers, value plays, and stackable offenses to target.

Whether chasing big GPP prizes or grinding cash games, we’ve got you covered with insights tailored to today’s matchups. Let’s jump right into the key plays and strategies to dominate the slate!

This season's MLB DFS picks and playbook will consist of a pitcher and hitter core players section with written analysis, player pool grid and core stacks section.

The core player section should be used as a starting point for all lineups, you may not be able to use all players in the same lineup, but those players should be the building blocks for you on a given night.

The player pool grid will feature both players from the core player section along with additional plays to help you build a complete lineup. The grid will be broken into top priced players, mid-priced players and value tier players.

The stacks section will bring you are favorite lineups stacks for the day and which players we would look to include in those stacks based on matchups and pricing.

MLB Weather: Monday, 5/26

The weather looks to be all clear today

Recommended MLB DFS Starting Pitchers

Let's get into today's core pitching plays for our DFS lineups

Core MLB DFS Pitchers

Garrett Crochet, Boston Red Six

It’s Garrett Crochet, don’t overthink things too much. The Milwaukee Brewers are not a scary offense and they have plenty of lefties, Crochet should dominate them today. The Red Sox finally don’t have to deal with weather heading into Milwaukee and Crochet should enjoy pitching in the dome today and is worth the top price.

Jacob deGrom, Texas Rangers

Jacob deGrom is back to being completely dominant. He has gone 8 and 7 innings in each of his last two starts and has piled up 26 strikeouts in his last 3 starts as well. Toronto isn’t an offense that you back away from and it is hard to not want to consider paying up for each of the top two arms today with how great the both are.

Nick Martinez, Cincinnati Reds

If you need a cheaper option today I really like taking a shot on Nick Martinez. I know he only has 3 striekouts in his last two outings but he is still someone who has shown strikeout stuff in the past and the Royals aren’t an offense I am shying away from right now, plus it is a good park to pitch in. The top end of pitchers is hard to pass up, but I think that Martinez can return good value today.

Clay Holmes, New York Mets

Clay Holmes isn’t Crochet or deGrom, but he gets to face the Chicago White Sox, which means he could easily match them today. He has been solid so far in his transition to the rotation and I do think that there is still more we could see out of him as he continues and with the good matchup I am willing to consider him if you can’t quite get to both Crochet and deGrom.

Recommended MLB DFS Hitters

Let's check out today's core plays to build our lineups around.

Core MLB DFS Hitters

Spencer Torkelson, 1B Detroit Tigers

I am a fan of Hayden Birdsong and what he has been doing, but the Tigers have been pretty unstoppable, and Torkelson continues to mash. He is only batting .239, but with 14 homers, a .347 OBP, and a .522 SLG, he continues to provide great value at first.

Jackson Holliday, 2B Baltimore Orioles

I always believed it was only a matter of time before Jackson Holliday started producing, and it sure seems like he is beginning to figure things out. He just ended a 10-game hitting streak during which he hit 2 homers and had 4 multi-hit games. The Baltimore Orioles have been pretty disappointing so far, but this is still an offense with a lot of talent, and I trust them to get to Fedde today.

Rafael Devers, 3B Boston Red Sox

Remember at the beginning of the season when it seemed like Devers would never get a hit and he appeared broken? Yeah, he is absolutely fine. Over the last month, he has slashed .394/.492/.760 with 10 homers and 36 RBIs. He is one of the best hitters in the game, and this price is honestly too low for him in this spot today.

Chicago Cubs Outfield

Kyle Tucker, Pete Crow-Armstrong, Seiya Suzuki. Take your pick, or can you afford all 3? They are all absolutely crushing, and they are facing the Colorado Rockies. They may be expensive today, which can be hard to afford if you are also paying up for the top pitching, but it is hard not to try to fit as many of them in as you can.
