MLB DFS Lineup Picks: Starting Pitchers
MLB DFS Top Pitchers
Yoshinobu Yamamoto (LAD)
Analysis: Yamamoto has had upside concerns more than consistency concerns this season, until that completely flipped his last three starts. He has sandwiched a six-run blow-up with a complete game and a double-digit strikeout performance. The bad start is the most likely outlier, as Yamamoto has been excellent overall this season. He draws a plus matchup against the Mets.
Paul Skenes (PIT)
Analysis: Skenes has had a few hiccups this season, at least by his very lofty standards, but he is still one of the best pitchers in baseball. A 29.7% strikeout rate and 5.6% walk rate provide both a very high floor and a massive ceiling. He draws a tough matchup against the division-rival Cubs, who he already owns one double-digit strikeout performance against this season.
Hunter Greene (CIN)
Analysis: Greene's 2026 season was delayed for months, but he's come out of the gate strong with 26 strikeouts in his first three starts. The run prevention could have been better, but it is upside we are chasing here.
Sean Burke (CWS)
Analysis: Burke has had an incredible season, with a 3.20 ERA through 112.1 innings this season. The strikeout rate and walk rate are both well ahead of league average. He draws a tough matchup against Houston tonight, but honestly, the salary hasn't quite kept up with the production. There is still upside at this price, despite the matchup.
MLB DFS Value Pitchers
Ryan Weathers (NYY)
Analysis: Weathers has been inconsistent this season. He struggled in a plus matchup against Pittsburgh last game, but dominated a Washington offense that has pummeled lefties in the start before that. What gives? I'm not sure, but a 26.6% strikeout rate and 6.7% walk rate are strong enough to present interest in any matchup. He happens to draw a Phillies offense that has struggled with lefties this season.
Shota Imanaga (CHC)
Analysis: We know the drill with Imanaga; if he's locating and keeping the ball in the park, he is a borderline ace. If he's not, he is one of the most homer-prone pitchers in the game. He was dominant his last time out, and now he gets an elite matchup against Pittsburgh. First, he gets a significant park upgrade for pitchers at PNC Park. Also, the Pirates have struggled to a 94 wRC+ and league-leading 26.2% strikeout rate against lefties.
Robert Gasser (MIL)
Analysis: Gasser has the second-best odds to record a win on the entire slate, which is pretty crazy considering some of the other names. It's a lot less crazy when you consider his elite matchup and the top-five offense backing him. The Rockies own a pathetic 81 wRC+ against left-handed pitching, and they have also struck out at the third-highest rate. Taking them out of Coors Field creates a huge upside spot for the lefty Gasser.

MLB DFS Lineup Picks: Stacks & Hitters
MLB DFS Top Hitters
Byron Buxton (OF, MIN) & Kody Clemens (2B, MIN)
Analysis: There are splits to look at when breaking down matchups, and then there are hitters that are just better than everyone else. Buxton falls into the latter category, posting an absurd .336 ISO against righties this year. Clemens has also been very good against righties, with a .248 ISO, and he gets a further bump from the massive splits of Barnett. The A's righty has been destroyed by left-handed hitters this season for a .378 ISO.
Jackson Chourio (OF, MIL) & Brice Turang (2B, MIL)
Analysis: Feltner has given up massive power numbers to both sides of the plate this season, so splits aren't really a concern here. Turang boasts a .230 ISO against righties, which is a massive number for a second baseman who also has 15 steals. Chourio is at a .200 ISO versus righties, and he's stolen 10 bases of his own. The pair has combined for 28 homers and 25 stolen bases this season.
Matt Olson (1B, ATL) & Michael Harris (OF, ATL)
Analysis: Olson and Harris form a potent, lefty 1-2 punch in the middle of the Braves lineup. Young has had a strong season, but he does have some vulnerabilities against lefties, who have posted a .163 wOBA and .314 wOBA/.331 xwOBA against him.
MLB DFS Value Hitters
Jonah Heim (1B/C, ATH)
Analysis: Heim has absolutely destroyed left-handed pitching this season, owning a .299 ISO in 93 plate appearances. He is too cheap for that production, especially considering his multi-positional eligibility.
Brooks Lee (3B, MIN) & Josh Bell (1B, MIN)
Analysis: The Twins have the highest implied run total of the day, and these two value options are in an elite spot. Bell owns a .191 ISO against right-handed pitching, while Lee is up at a .210 ISO. Barnett has been crushed by lefties to the tune of a .378 ISO.
Garrett Mitchell (OF, MIL)
Analysis: Mitchell had some struggles earlier this season, specifically in May, but his StatCast page always indicated better days were ahead. He has posted a 168 wRC+ in July, and his season-long ISO against righties is all the way up to .208. Feltner has been smashed for a .288 ISO by lefty batters.
JJ Bleday (OF, CIN)
Analysis: Bleday has fallen off from his otherworldly start to the season when he was one of the best hitters in baseball, but he has still been extremely productive. His season ISO against righties sits at .253, and he's also sporting a healthy .364 wOBA.
