Riley Greene ParlayPlay MLB Pick: OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI

In the 10 games prior to the break, Greene was hitting .286 with a .571 SLG and 154 wRC+, and I think you’re going to love his outlook for today. He has an .885 OPS and .208 ISO on the road this year, not to mention an .879 OPS and .379 wOBA against righties. Today, he’ll take on Grayson Rodriguez, who has a 9.58 ERA at home this year, and has surrendered a .629 SLG and .449 wOBA to left-handed hitters.

Rodriguez’s issues at home and against left-handed hitters lines up quite nicely with Greene’s excellence against right-handers, and playing on the road.

James Wood ParlayPlay MLB Pick: OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI

Wood’s numbers aren’t as prolific on the road as they are at home, but it’s hard to ignore a warm evening at Sutter Health Park with near double-digit winds blowing out for this one. He’ll take on a righty tonight in J.T. Ginn, and against RHP this year, Wood has a .315 ISO and 1.029 OPS! In the 13 games prior to the All-Star break, he slashed .435/.587/1.065 with eight home runs, 19 runs scored, and 15 RBI.

J.T. Ginn has struggled of late, posting a 6.20 ERA and 2.21 HR/9 over his last four starts. During this stretch, his groundball rate is 10 percentage points lower (36.2%) than his rate for the season (46.2%), and lefties have a .522 SLG and .400 wOBA against him during this run.

Wood is a phenomenal talent, and he has my attention whenever he’s facing a right-handed pitcher. Oh, and the hitting environment at Sutter Health Park is pretty enticing, too.
